All the dates are in the chinese leap month in 2012, and just like 7th mth or qing ming, most chinese avoid getting married in that mth, which is why i guess most hotels have these dates available.

Btw, i don't sibling's details as they r not taken into consideration

Hi Stah

Only 8th Oct is a general good date for wedding and don't clash anyone. Rest are not good dates or clashes.

** Note that tong shu good dates are general good dates only and meant for mass consumption (ie if that day is good for wedding for dog, then the whole world dog can get married that yr..but in real life this is not true). Hence a good date in the tong shu can still turn out to be a bad date if the tong shu date and your bazi are not compatible. The correct & authentic way is using Bazi (both your birth data) to select the dates to ensure that the date selected is specifically good for both of you only, and not for mass public.

Hi GC

12th is not a good date for wedding. 20th clashes to Rooster, hence both cannot be used

The tong shu is not out yet hence i can't advise any general good dates from the tong shu till it is out sometimes next mth.

7th Oct doesn't clash to anyone (clash Goat), but will have to wait till tong shu is out to see if it is a general date or not.

3rd Nov is a super bad date, hence out

All the dates are not good dates for wedding:

16 Sep 2012 //not a gd date for wedding
7 Oct 2012 //clash to Goat
21 Oct 2012 // from 8/10 - 6/11 is a bad mth for wedding in Oct. This is å²ç ´ month. Not good for important activities
28 Oct 2012 // same as above and this is a super bad date
3 Nov 2012 // same as above and this is a super bad date

My boyfriend and i are born in the year of Rat. Is it ok to ROM/ Customary in 2013 which is the year of Snake?? Actually Rat is clash with snake or horse? Thanks

the 1st 2 dates does not clash to anyone. 24/3 is in Qing Ming mth, hence out.

However, the tong shu is not out, hence i can't check if it is a general auspicious date or not till it is out. But i believe most hotels are full already for weekends already, esp 1st half of 2012. I've already started 2012 wedding dates selection since last yr this time, so booking 2012 dates now is bit late.

U will have to do it in 2012 coz 2013 is Snake yr and clashes to Pig, which is bride

Date selection is irregardless of chinese culture, hence doesnt matter if dumpling festival or not. If your parents are pantang abt it, then you just have to avoid to make them happy

Can i enquire about some things about shifting house? Is it true that we cannot have sharp objects in the new house when we move in? We actually bought knives so that we can prepare our first meal when we moved in but my mum insist that we keep the knives at my parents-in-law's place and bring back only few weeks after we moved in...

General 2013 dates will only be available next year (2012) July/Aug period when the 2013 tong shu is out.

I have already started to choose for 2013 dates using Bazi this month onwards. By then, it will be too late as most weekend dates for most hotel will be long gone

Hence only 26/2 does not clash anyone. But will have to wait till 2012 tong shu is out to check if it is a general good date for wedding or not. However, if this date is compatible with both your bazi, it can be used , irregardless if the tong shu says good or bad

May I know when is a good date for wedding during Nov and Dec 2012? Prefer weekends (e.g.Saturday)

Groom: Dog (1982)
Bride: Pig (1983)

Groom dad: Dog
Bride dad: Rat
Bride mom: Goat

If a good date had been chosen, but the date fall on the month of either the siblings/parents birth date month, is it okay??

My fiance and I are also rats, and I saw in your post to honeykitty that 2014 is bad for rats.

I presume that it is from a general perspective. Would it be possible for 2014 to be suitable/good based on the bazi? I read from your previous posts that the ROM date is important as that is the day the couple officially becomes husband and wife

- 06/09, 15/10, 18/10, 30/10, 09/11, 12/11, 19/11, 20/11, 24/11, 02/12, 06/12, 13/12, 07/01, 09/01, 10/01, 19/01

Groom is born Dog yr, and 2012 Dragon yr clashes to Dog, hence not a good yr for wedding for him. However, you are born Pig yr, hence 2013 will not be good for you. Hence i guess the best yr is 2011 or 2014. If you can't wait that long, the only workaround solution is to ROM in 2011 and carry on your banquet in 2012. At least you ROM/get married in a better yr first. AD is just a banquet (of course ideally if all can fall on a good, that will be better).

In any case, the tong shu for 2012 is not out yet, hence will have to wait till it is out if you really still want to proceed with 2012 dates.

The tong shu for 2012 is not out yet, hence i can't select 2012 general tong shu good dates till it is out sometimes this or next mth.

Right now, the only way is to use Bazi to select.

Another stupid question (i must say), is it recommended to "try on" wedding gowns during this 7th month?
