I used Guna's deco services for my wedding in 2008 too..I personally chose him as i wanted traditional wedding deco..

he did not dissappoint me nor my family..would sure recommend him..

I wanna get saree that will design into evening gown..

did you find anything? i wanna make MTM wedding gown but then the designer dare not risk the saree to make evening gown as she never tried on that material before..

Jun >> I haven't found anything I fancy thus far. It looks like I might need 2 gowns and 1 ghagra... =( So much work to be done.... Have you shortlisted any bridal boutiques? I have done some online research on gowns, but yet to visit the boutiques.

Bridal veil is really nice.... Shortlisted them too. Golden Horse Awards seems ok too.

A friend of mine got a saree from stylemart and got them to make it into an evening gown. Total cost was 1.9K eeeep =(

Btw would you know of any wedding card printers?

wow.. 1.9k! Insane!!! i have contacted some designer in India.. Waiting for them to get back to me.. Only one reply but the designer does not have "WOW" effect.

Wedding cards is settle by the hotel. So i only need to print.

When is your wedding month? Who are your shortlisted bridal? Which one is very pushy so i can avoid them?
 
So far Tan yoong, GHA, BV.. Shortlisted based on reviews. I will only go down to view them in the weeks to come. Spoke to GHA at a wedding fair, they were quite friendly. Not pushy at all.

Oh, there's another place (similar to stylemart) that I went to check out. Jinders. Believe it or not, their outfits were in the region of SGD2.5k!!!! *faint*

Nope.. nothing book.. except for the hotel. need to find time to go down and see at the gown before i fly off again..

SAHELI BRIDAL HOUSE
they have great bridal lengga for rental with matching accessories. ive been to their place for trial makeup and im very impress with her outfit collections. All with bling bling sarvoski beadings. I think its only $300 for rental. Its more worth to rent it then purchase. U cant use the outfit again if you buy and tat costing BIG BOMBS. Do Try Saheli.

Anyone have any idea where can i rent wedding car with indian deco like the one with fully covered jasmin and any contacts for bhangra group??
 
I wonder if saheli has any modern looking lenghas to rent out. Would be quite interested in those. Anyone knows?
