Veron: The last time i went to V2 creations they said they wud be bringing in some bridal collection..if u're looking for the silk sort of sarees then Jewel Palace like Saralash has suggested might be more suitable..

For reception if u r considering not wearing the silk type then u can check out stylemart or jinder's..

They look very pretty 3 roses in a heart shape box with ribbons tied around it. shall forward the email if you are interested too. Good day!

Hiya. This space is very useful for future Indian brides for sure since our needs are a little different.

I'm Indian Muslim so mine would be a combination of Indian and Muslim things to look into. I'm getting married in Dec.

I managed to book Shanti, affiliated with Stylemart after all the rave reviews on her at this website. Yaay!

My venue is on Fort Canning, White Studio. Just nice for about 100-120 come and go guests.

I've shortlisted two decor companies, Comel and Molek and Kaisayang for the decor. Quite modern looking and not too exorbitantly priced either.

Invites - new age style, only e-cards

Caterer is family connection because he makes killer briyani.

Video and photography is soo expensive! Feel like just DIY with friends and relatives.

I've done alot of footwork on especially venue/decor so if you need any advice, pls feel free to message me.

Hey wedded bliss ... i'm gonna have an indian muslim wedding too ... and a dec bride as well ...

What does AD mean? I'm so bad with abbreviations..hee hee. wedding is on 26 Dec.

300, why don't you try Tepak Sireh,(Arab Street area) maybe Span Joms (Balestier)Most venues are around the same price. These two the most affordable. if you can wait, try Civil Service Club @ Tessensohn, but you can only book 3 months in advance.

All the best with the search aqua girl. Keep us informed.

To Lydia,I'm really not sure about the two places. Why don't you look through the previous posts and check out the feedback? Basically apparently this forum thread is quite dead. Our bad luck!

Hi btbs, I wanted to share that if you are looking for affordable photographers, you can check out club snap. Under "Personal Services offered", you can contact photographers. TFCD means Trade for CD where they will charge you minimal fee for gaining experience. If you are on a shoestring budget, you can check it out.

Saralash - perhaps you can tell me the date and I will check with him? How many pax and where will also help. You can email me [email protected]. Thanks!

Shyla - I guess I haven't been to many themed weddings so really not sure. The Malay wedding decorations have really gone places with many themes, like Masquerade, Greek, etc. Love looking at the decors.

Hai B2Bz!
I got married couple of months back,i engaged Ezina to plan my entire wedding & trust me,it turn out very well! she is very efficient in what she does for both makeup & wedding planning. As for makeup, she does a great job! what you see during trial is what you get on actual day! very natural makeup.& best of all,she worked out everthing suiting our budget. From pg/vg,Dj,emcee,decorations(venue,car,hand bouquet),henna, saree tying & ofcoz her makeup services etc was all through her..& talking about decorations, she's got one of the best deco company! they do according to our desired themes! mine was arabian theme.& the best thing is,we will have a mock up session at their showroom of how our deco will be like on the actual day! trust me,i was one stressFREE bride! all the creditz goes to ezina & my sis-in law who found out about ezina via this forum! the reason why i registered myself here,is to share my wonderful experiencez with all you b2bz! its really worth choosing ezina! i had no regrets ;D

hI ladies,

I am tying the knot in april 2010. I am still unsure of alot of things and would love some advice. It is south indian wedding and happening in a temple hall.

I guess my main concern is the MUA, cos it has to be someone who cn do the hair with flower and all with tying saree. Any suggestions? Next concern is PG/VG... the temple tt we enaged has their inhouse photographer and it seems cheap but i am concern abt the quality of work. ANyone has used the arasa kesari inhouse VG/PG please let me know... thanks

Hi ladies
I had my wedding 3 weeks ago and it was a fabulous experience! Reception was at the Ritz Carlton for 100 people, photography was by The Edge Photography (stunning photos) and Makeup was by Makeup Forever. Everything turned out better than my expectations so if any of the brides to be out here would like any info on the above - I would be more than happy to share!

Hi v_ainiaval,

I'm getting the priests from arasa kesari to do my engagement and noticed you mentioned they have an inhouse pg and vg.. I have not heard abt them at all and the temple didn't mention either...you have any updates on this since your last post?
