Hi,
Anyone had their wedding at traders Hotel? Just went to view it and put a tentative reservation on the date as it's a hot date.Any brides has comments on the service & food of TH? How's the new coordinator Shaiful? Is he able to deliver what was promised? Both me and FH were abit careful in the things he promised us.

i wasnt' served by shaiful but the reviews i heard from friends about the food at traders is GOOD. I was there at the wedding show too and tasted what they served.. their food is nice!

If we didnt take the 3 decor themes, then we will have to pay extra for the decorations to change to another florist? can anybody advise? thanks!

Just done with my wedding on 20 Jan. My comments has been VERY POSITIVE since SHaiful took over. The service has been tip top and excellent! So superb and efficient and sometimes over my expectation! The food quality and quantity is really really good! I must say they taste BETTER than our food tasting session! (really beyond my expectation!) Our friends and relatives also gave the thumbs up! We started late at 9pm due to the heavy rain and jam at CTE but managed to complete by 11pm without feeling overly rushed. Everything was well-paced and smoothly delivered!
They also took in our suggestion and improve certain food like the yam paste (which taste significantly better compared to the food tasting). When we needed last minute addition of baby chairs and chairs, the banquet manager arranged them so efficiently that we c\didn't have to worry a thing at all (throughtout the banquet). Our stay there has also been great! It is the first time I can comment so positively on a service that I have encountered. Really highly recommended!!

By the way, I did not have to pay extra for the customised theme as I kept to mainly red roses and lots of greens... but turned out to my satisfaction
Hi JoJo, just make sure what you have requested were included in the contract, I believe that should be fine. In my opinion they delivered whatever was promised to us, and even more (the really intangible stuff: superb service and dedication).

Though the Yam paste is not exceptional, but I feel it is acceptable after the improvement.

But after much feedback from friends and relatives, my boyfriend n I felt that the package price n ballroom was nothing fantastic as compared to other 5-star hotels. Moreover we were not comfortable with Shaiful at all becos there seems to be alot of things that either he could not answer or seems inexperience. Therefore we decided to give them a miss.

I went to meet up with Charlotte last mon and we find that her sevice was very good. She is very detailed in explaining the items. The perks that she gave are also not bad, but just that the price is high.

Actually most hotels block the date as auspicious date. and i actually book earlier if not i have to bear the extra cost per table. I counted my date before the tong shu out. I have not consolidate how many tables but more than 25 tables but less than 30. I am taking The gallery room. The one which is bigger... Basically the hotel is alrite.. i dun really like the march in aisle... abit weird... But i have no choice... The bridal suite shld be okie. coz i only view in photo.... U may want to consider gtg there to take a look first.

How is the cocktail reception held if the banquet is held in the Gallery? I understand that the Gallery does not have any foyer available for cocktail reception.

we ever attended a friend's wedding at Gallery ballroom before. we had good impression to its nice food and good service. the deco is cozy too. we had the cocktail inside the Gallery foyer as my friend's wedding only have 20tables.if u have more tables,cocktail will be arranged outside..

hmm..think if not wrong, they used kind of simple separator before u move into dinner area..as the ambience of the ballroom is good and the room is spacious (if u have not more than 20 tables), it looked ok. when the dinner started, the separator was removed if i remember correctly.
