Hi Eltgal,

The datails all included what they had offered u and others normal terms and conditions which they need to cover theirselve if anything happen to the hotel.

I believe Hyatt will work professionally on this, so you shouldn't worry on it. Call you co-ordinator, he/she will help u much.

Has anyone got pics of Camelia ballroom to share? Looking at the threads of messages I'm really interested to book Hyatt but I had not yet gone for site visit. Will be greatful if anyone can share more information for this ballroom. My email is [email protected].

eh, is the sound system ok? i guess that is the main complaint abt Hyatt...

We are meeting Andy, so would need your advices on the type of negotiation skill that we should imposed on him! heehee
 
Hi HappyTea, I took SSR. I had 2 barrel of beer due to the showcase promotion.

The sound system works perfectly fine. There is absolutely no problem at all. We rented the projector from them, maybe that is why? Not too sure about that. Cos its from them, then I suppose it has to work.

Basically, Andy is a very nice and experience coordinator. He is very flexible so I guess you just need to discuss with him over what are the extra items that you need.

The black theme is very unique & I found that most couple chose it... I just shown my mum the black theme & she said all black...
Beside black, which theme u find is nice too... I had yet meet up with my coordinator to select the theme...
Please also advice how many month in advance before AD must we contact my coordinator for food tasting & theme selection?

yup! hyatt is quite rigid over perks. it is very hard to negotiate for anything.. hahaha
since their package is quite comprehensive...
 
Hi Hanko,

So sorry for the delay reply. Was very busy recently. You will only need to meet up your coordinator 1 month before for food tasting and probably about 3 weeks before to confirm all the decor and theme and will finalise all the little details. You will also need to confirm the number of table ard 2 weeks before AD.
 
Hi Eunice, the florist is provided by Hyatt. Comes with the package. I will say its very nicely done up and dun need to worry at all.
 
Hi Kexie, the table cloth is the usuall linen material, which is matt black which will goes very well with the red roses.

Oh and Eunice, my coordinator is Andy. We are very pleased with his services. Will grade him an A for it. He has make our wedding a very pleasant and memorable one. He is consider one of the very senior coordinator around. For the perks, I will say there is always room for discussion. They are always very flexible.

By the way, which ballroom did you hold your banuqet? How do you rank their food? From the comments posted by other brides, there are pillars in the ballrooms...Do you have any difficulties or any of your guest complained abt that?

hi all , i heard now Hyatt provide their own LCD projector for wedding dinners... wonder what is the size of the LCD and how much do they charge per nite usage? how is the quality? shld i take it for photo montage?

Hi Eunice, as mention in the above post, I had it in Sir Stamford room. Their food is good, probably I will give at least 8/10. SSR room do not have any pillars. They have a few ballrooms, some have, some dun have. Those without pillars, you have to pay more for it.

Yup, I am a Divine Couture bride. My WG & EG are both from them. My PG is from 1eyeclick, recommended by my friend. They had done a very good job for my AD.

My gf just engaged 1 eyeclick for her AD too. Din know that they done such a good job. I thought your PG for your AD was taken by some pro PG =) But the PG from 1 eyeclick very young right?

Hi Eunice, yup. They are really very good. If not wrong, its actually run by a young couple, maybe in their mid or late 20s. I took the package that comes with 2 photographers, which is themselves. So that they can capture more angles. Sign up with them during their roadshows, so I think got quite a good price.

Hi dreamer, I think its not so convenient to talk about them(PG) here, as their name is being block out. I will email you the details.

Hyatt does allow switching of dishes. Not sure does it applies to all, as I have my desert switched. My wedding is on the weekday, so its a weekday menu.

Hi amiang, check your mail for details. The ang bow box is DIY by one of my entourage. It was actually from my invitation card design which I engage a designer to do it. So she just follow the card design and custom it to match my dinner Black Theme. I didn't take up Hyatt invite card, as we find it too plain.

I'm new here..am considered hyatt as one of choices for wedding banquet next yr..anyone can email me the wedding package for Grand Hyatt? Any photos of the grand ballroom to share? Cos I'm looking at about 40 tables..are there pillars in the grand ballroom..also, anyone has the menu offered by grand hyatt..thanks in advance!!!!
 
Rinnie , why dont u approach Hyatt itself , because their package keep changing ... some of us here booked just 2mths ago, yet the package and prices are quite different compare to now...

Hey people,
Hyatt is opened for booking in 2007. Their 2006 packages is applicable till Apr 2007. And their 2007 packages looks quite good... Hmm....
