Cheongsam

Hi Ah Ger,

Rec'd your email and the photos of the CS, with thanks. They looked great. Maybe thought of dropping by to see Sharon during lunch time. I work very near there. Does she have many different types of cs to recommend as I not very sure on design to make. Also, will she recommend where to get nice fabric to make CS?

Hi Ladies,

Would like to ask & seek for some opinion. Normally during the wedding banquet, how many outfits are we going to change (2 or 3)? I thought of making a long CS for my tea ceremonary, and also wear it again during the cocktail reception before banquet start, then change to my WG, during banquet change to EG.Will that be ok?

Gan

U can ask her, she actually is nt a boutique bt perhaps she can draw for u to c.....

Or maybe ask if she has any idea of a more modernised CS lor.

Hi Ladies,

Hi Zann & Ah ger,
Thx alot for the updates. :-)

Just cross my mind that there used to be a boutique at bugis, located at corner of level 2 which sells lots of CS.. but it has closed down or shifted like 1-2 yrs ago, anyone has any idea where it is located now?

hi cute_miffy,

think i didnt share my CS pic in this thread? was sharing in another thread..
anyway, have sent you the link~

I think the one @ Bugis is called Ted's collection. Their CS nt cheap leh, I hv frens who do frm them cost abt $6 - 700 including everything.

hi zann,
thx for the pix! ur CS cutting is exactly what i'm looking for.

may i ask how much did u pay for the CS in total? did u have to buy your own fabric?

Edna,

yes, have to get own fabric cos she afraid if she get for customers, customers don't like the material so she ask me to get myself. The whole thing (workmanship plus fabric) cost me less than 210

hi Edna

hmm, think 3 1/2 metre? something like that...
but i have quite an amt of leftover...think enough to make another short dress
Judy usually takes abt 3 wks..

zann,
did u buy your fabric in s'pore?
n where?
i dare not go to those shops in chinatown which usu target at the angmohs. dunno if they wld quote me some outrageous prices. n i've no idea what's the market price.

hi Edna,

which part of chinatown u referring to?
i bought the fabric at people's park complex but this building is under renovation now.
if you are worried abt being over quoted, can check with a few shops to compare.
Another place u can shop for materials is arab street. i heard arab street has more varieties
but the price is steeper than those shops at people's park complex. I been there once but
didnt find it as interesting as i heard or maybe I went to another part of arab street? keke..
anyway, if you are looking for lace materials, arab street has quite a handful of varieties

thx zann!
for all the info.
i'm referring to those shops located at pagoda st area, the v touristy area; as i noe dat people's park is closed for renovation.

i'll give Kim a call. i may use ur pix as a sample to her, if dats ok with u.

hi KatGrrl,

Thanks!! :P
No, you don't have to get the lining, button or zip. Judy took care of those and the workmanship charges include those.

Hi Zann
Thanks alot.. I like the back cutting and want something like that...
Sorry that I may have miss the above posting. Can you advise me the costing it? How much does Judy charge?

Thanks
