I totally understand what you mean. When I 1st saw my gown I was sooo happy with it! I might wanna add more things to my gown still but have to discuss with Miah and see his opinion.

I just got my photos from Utopia, I can upload some =D I know what you mean, it's catching up on me too... the invitation and stuff... Btw, when and where are u having ur dinner?


Liz> IIRC Miah is $4980 for without PG. So actually it adds up, coz my package is mtm EG (to keep) and man's suit (to keep).

I totally agree with 8klay8 regarding chemistry. Really have to see if you can communicate with the designer and that they really understand what you want. hths~
 


Woah.. my frens are warning me it'll be tiring too.. now i'm a little worried :P esp since i've a huge gown too... I'll be doing it with Chris Ling btw.. Looking forward to your pics!

I guess coz Chris Ling has more photographers so time will not be too tight even if you take at a later date? For Utopia, I think Travis does all the photo-taking and editing so need to have the photoshoot earlier. That's why my 2nd fitting is early too...

I love your WG! very sweet... and the asymmetrical feel to it, nice! the organza in the front. Beautiful!! I think more things will fall into place once you've finished with your 2nd fitting =D

Seem like this thread has gone quiet. Will appreciate if someone can share with me their package with ALW. Is it true that those package price are for the very basic gowns? If we want more embellishments, lace and embroideries, we will have to top up more for it?

Does ALW charges based on designs we want like most designer boutique?

Ermm I gotta disagree. My gown design was quite elaborated but there was no additional charges.

Laetitia - sorry abt the late reply as I didn't check this forum much after my wedding. But would like to assure you that I had the most fabulous experience with Miah, and tho he did tell me there'll be additional charges for elaborated design, in the end he did a very spectacular gown for me with no add. charge. So the so-called "basic" is not that basic if you are worried

Let me know if you wanna see pictures of my gown, I can email to you. All my guests complimented me on my gown, and said it is absolutely gorgeous. Most importantly, it was everything I imagined my wedding gown to be!

hi Laetitia, yup, i saw their gowns look nice. im looking for gowns that have sleeves or something to cover the left shoulder (e.g. toga, or off-shoulder gown).

Bingbong: yeah I love ALW gowns too. Very lovely. Like their use of colours. My HTB would like to have colours on my gown instead of just plain white....

Chrysalia: Wow... congrats on signing up with Miah. When is your big day? When will you be going for your first design session?
 
On the topic of MUA, I must strongly recommend my MUA - Gin. She was fabulous throughout my photo shoot, and AD! And really love her make-up, very natural yet glam!
