Renee - we got the chess set from a quiant little shop in NZ during our honeymoon a few months back! The lizard toilet paper holder was from Australia (Adelaine) - was hand made by some guy there, quite expensive but thought it was really cool

Moo, thanks! I guess the stone wall feature by the TV console & the chandeliers give it an english feel...The stuff we got from all over the wolrd from business trips & holidays..plus some from little shops in Spore (eg. Dempsey road area) have been collecting knick knacks since we bought the apartment 2 years ago & storing them all while waiting for TOP! hehe...excuse to go shopping!

Yr home is very unique...Alot of ideas n efforts were put into it..Well done.. Esp like yr chess set from NZ...so nice..

Stars, thanks! Actually, the place was quite effortless to put together; we bought alot of the furniture & furnishing before we got the keys (assuming they would all fit in nicely!), so we already had an idea of what we wanted. The ID took just 4 days to paint & do the renovation.
Yeah, love the NZ chess set too! But one of the cows fell off the desk & lost one eye & ear!
