I was intending to hold maybe 30-35 tables but the big ballroom the incharge mentioned at least 40 tables. Other wise will be the smaller one at level 2, which holds max 25 ( I think). Actually there's nothing much to go down for.. cuz frankly nothing to nego for. Haha. Carpark is under safra so there's no complimentary carpark.
I went there too.. But sadly couldn't get anyone to talk to me. Think too many people and too much things going on at the same time haha

Hihi, I booked the ballroom. The food is from captain's table
it is $800+++. i thought it was good so we went ahead to book. Did you try to email them?I spoke to the banquet sales and they are very friendly. but they dont serve shark fin.. cos they are near the sea and they pledged no shark fin. The menu do have abalone.
We are looking at 35-40 tables

And also, there is a mrt station right at their entrance, they said it is supposed to be up by early 2016 but it has been push back. but they guaranteed that the mrt would be ready by 2017.Oh ya.. i love captain's table food too.. hope they dont disappoint us

Hi! Non carpeted floor meaning is those wooden tiles? Cuz I went to peony jade @ keppel bay I got a shock at the floor cuz it looks like those school halls floors and ambience. But they told us it wasn't done up so looks abit Erm.. Old. Lol. they were doing their rehearsal there for first dish presentation. And the florist is still there doing up the decoration. so this is all i have.

Both my bf and i staying in the west, so we looking at the west area.
If west area can consider the one call Blossom Garden. Also under Qian Xi! Hehe. My bro hold his wedding at Bliss Garden so we roughly know the place. That's why we book there due to Budget wise as well. I attached the photo for your reference

Ohhh i just realize Blossom garden is at bukit gombak home teams, hilltop is at bukit batok csc. Both under QianXi group.

Hey Aralex, we wanted 25 Feb for raffles Marina too, but it was Long taken up in BOWS 2015. So we moved our dates to May25/2/17 but sadly already taken up

Usually bridal car is not included in the package I think. The package with my bridal shop doesn't include rental of bridal car but they can liaise with vendors to help you to rent one. Alternatively, you can wait for wedding shows for venues. Certain venues do include free bridal car as one of the perks.

Hi dear, I did consider Orchid Country Club but gave this option a miss after reviewing the accessibility and ballroom. Frankly, their grand ballroom is the nicest that no hotels can beat (Super high ceiling and spacious, pillarless) if you are thinking of other ballrooms, skip OCC. In addition as the number of tables I'm getting is lesser than their minimum 35-40 tables, I did not choose OCC in the end. Happy hunting!
If your family members don't reside near Yishun, highly likely you need to pay extra for transport to fetch them too, unless you are comfortable to get them to hop on their scheduled bus.

At least 6 months prior to wedding day is strongly recommended. Photo editing is an intensive task which requires time. Not to mention photo album designing and printing.
Their package is slightly more expensive compared to other bridals. However, I have to admit that their work is really stunning
so if you have the budget, I would recommend you to go for TAB.Mmmm..... is there any bridal to recommend which is more reasonable in pricing? Yup same same haha! I went to check online and previously they charges at 2800 so it's really a good deal I feel like. Esp they r in market for a long time already

Hi ladies! Finally I found someone talking abt Raffles Marina! because so far there are no thread about it. Haha. I've book with them BOWS'15 for 18/2/17! Because need to take note possibility of rain for the outdoor solemnization and feb is dry phase of monsoon season #prayhard. Went back to check their price during BOWS'16, they have not increase yet. We went to Bows on Friday then went to raffles Marina on sat and sun we booked our package. HTB and I love the place and the fact that there will be mrt next yr. so looking forward to it. As Long as it is our ideal venue, who care if it is far west haha. We are the main highlight for our wedding, so we choose what and where we like! So happy to see that someone else picked the same location as us.
