4k can get pretty decent Pg n VG

Mine slightly less than 4k for pg VG n instant print :)

Hi! Sorry but in your post, you quoted me saying "place" to which you replied "M"... I'm getting a little confused here - I don't recall ever asking you about any "place" per se and it's not my style to type one-worded posts such as "place" so maybe I'm missing out on something here. The last time I wrote "place" on this forum thread was in a much earlier post when I was describing about MUA hairstyling bride's hair that it will usually stay in "place". Can you please kindly clarify your post? Thanks! :)

Hi all, i'm looking around for pre-wedding photoshoot but i'm totally clueless about it. Hope u girls can help answer my queries :)

1) I'll really love to have my photoshoot done on a lavender field!
a) Which lavender field should i go? (With budget constraint)
b) How much will it cost?
c) Do i book and arrange it in Singapore or the country/place that the lavender field is located?
d) Where and how do i look for these arrangements?
e) How long in advance i need to book?
f) What details and stuffs do i need to look out for?

2) But if it's too expensive, i'll just do a local one.
a) Indoor or outdoor better?
b) If outdoors, where can i shoot it? (I like the nature scenery kind of feel, field with sunset or sea view)
c) How much will it cost?
d) Where and how do i look for these arrangements?
e) How long in advance i need to book?

3) Do i book everything as a package from 1 shop/person or everything separately?
a) What does a package usually consist of or what are the things i need to get/arrange (non-package)?

4) Lastly, i saw some $128 pre-wedding photoshoot package deals on Groupon.
a) What is it about? Are those genuine deals or just some sales gimmick?
b) Whats the difference compared to normal packages?
c) Will the quality and result of these packages be really bad since it's so cheap?

Can we hold a simple solemnization in the bridal room ? Just the bride, groom and both our parents.
Is it weird ? The room is pretty small but there is a small coffee table and a sofa seat.

so long as you're ok with it :) it doesnt have to be a grand affair in the first place, unless u have relatives/friends who longs to see your solemnization~

Originally was intended to be the same person for mine but due to her going off for maternity leave, the hotel arranged for us to meet another manager before our AD and he showed up on our AD so all's well and good.. ;)

My bff got us dresses from Occasion Dresses http://www.occasion.com.sg/
Quality is pretty good, and they have a boutique at Raffles City so we were able to try the gowns becos the bridesmaids wear very different sizings.

If all the bridesmaid are of similar sizes (like petite/slim kind), then can consider blogshops - Love bonito, Agneselle etc.. Cheaper :)

Hello BTBs,

Im a sept BTB. Starting to feel the jitters.

Anyone knows the pricing for my bridal room ala carte dress rental? I'm considering there.

I looked at about 5-6 BS over the last 3 months n finally found something I like. But the girl's service sucks and on hindsight when we scrutinised the dress it also feels like the proportioning is odd. So its back on the hunt!

Any recommendations on where I should look? I was previously trying to keep the budget low at about 700-900 for rental of dress and 1makeup n hairdo look. Now looking at increasing the budget.

I'm looking at mermaid dresses, or something with sheer overlay in front, or French lace all over the dress.

Depends on what you're looking for and your budget.. We got convertible dresses for my bridesmaids from Dressabelle.. Convertible dresses were a good choice for us and it allows flexibility in the design and it's free-sized.. Plus Dressabelle's ones come in many colours for us to choose from and are reasonably priced at about $30+ per dress.. You can either buy online through their website or if you're like us, we went down to their physical shop for my bridesmaids to try out the dresses.. The salesgirls there were friendly and nice to teach us how we can style the dress in different styles and were patient as my bridesmaids try on colour after colour, style after style.. ;)

Anyone has recommendation for AD photographer and videographer? we are having a luncheon and expecting for same day edit of morning highlights for second march-in, I have checked out some websites, mostly they cannot do same day edit for lunch or require to top up a significant price for 2nd videographer. Please help.. :(

Another thing, anyone has contact for freelance MUA to do make-up and hair-do for family members? I am expecting 4 pax to have their make-up and hair-do done, anyone knows what is the market rate and normally took how long to do one person?

I used iSnap for pre-wedding PG and actual day PG and VG.. Total cost: $3+k.. Highly recommend them.. You can read my reviews on them as well as other vendors by visiting the thread link I posted in my signature.. ;)

Heard its good and plus it cost less than those in SG if not wrong. But of course provided if you guys have e time to head down a few times.

I actually emailed them..
The Rates are from
RM5000-10000 for this year depending on what you want:)

The whole stretch have got other bridal shops that are not bad as well:)
Will be going down end of May for i'm a 2016 bride!!:D

I'm planning to be a early 2016 BTB. So am now sourcing BS & Luncheon.
Here are my shortlist:

BS base on AD gowns: Rico A Mona, French Wedding (Jasmine is the coordinator) or Sophia Wedding (Ann is the coordinator)

Hotel for Lunch: M Hotel, Holiday Inn Orchard or MBS

Any kind reviews on the above?
