A lot of major lobang here and there coz we're both too 'busy' to blog sometimes. Now most of the stuff is about our wedding, so I think we'll just keep the wedding stuff in there.
I have seen couples who have a dedicated blog about the wedding - with wedding pics, proposal, honeymoon, etc. Those really need a lot of time and dedication to do. I will pray that my FH has that kinda motivation, coz I know that I don't.

Pinkcoral: it's nice ur htb does these things with u! My fiancé's totally not into these stuff.I saw those nice blogs too but i've Difficulty maintaining 1blog, let alone 2blogs.. N sometimes I just wanna write rubbish. Haha.So prob have to stick to e normal blog.. So tat can continue even after my AD..

just a little update. last week i was still grumbling that i have yet to get my banquet venue, got "rejected" by 4 hotels already on the date we wanted.
yesterday my other half & i went to Swissotel wedding showcase, and we confirmed our AD on the requested date !! I'm soooo happy and relieved cause "10" is significant to us
it's on sept 10 2011

Ladies... quick question, esp for those taking local shoots with ala carte designers.
Have anyone confirmed your photoshoot dates yet? How far in advance do we have to confirm this? Because we have to arrange with the BS so that the alterations etc will be completed before that and the MUA will be available on that day...
I am doing the coordination by myself because I am not engaging any of the photographers that my BD tie up with. So just need a rough timeline, so that I dun sound too kancheong... (which my HTB is insisting that I am).

pink glove: im using TG for my AD. He is charging $1.5k; without any trial makeup.

Hi Kass.. Euzart commented before that as my wedding day is Nov 2011, there is no hurry for me to plan anything now. In fact in his words, he always say 'still very early now' and he laughed. Hmmpf! Hehe
After reading your comments on the Jawn thread, Ive checked with OEC. They said they do the prewedding shoots at least 3 months before AD. So now that I know roughly when is good for my prewedding shoots, I will then go to both Euzard (for my MUA) and OEC comes end of this year.

If you take outside photographers who are not tied in with your BS, then u need to coordinate such that your PS will take place on the day your MUA is available. For the gown, it should already be ready before then, but ur BS should make sure your dress is ready.
For one-stop BSs and for those PGs who tie up with the BSs, the BS will do the coordination. However, if u choose an outside PG or a PG which doesn't tie up with the BS, u will need to do the coordination.

rururoo: there are ala-carte BS which only provides gowns, men suits & makeup services.. PG services are usually not included in their packages..

If u play the original CD song, it will come under the Hotel's license I think, so as long as u don't embed it into your montage, u should be fine. Not very sure myself, so someone can correct me if I am wrong.

ruru: I tink u can also choose to have ur AD PG & VG by e same one-stop bridal shop if u like their works. They do provide such services..
Cherry: If ur budget's ard there, I tink u can get very good VG & PG.. so u prob can widen ur option and look around more.. but the pricing will b around there if u expect this type of quality I guess...

Cherry chirpy>> I’m with Unique colours, got it cos’ of its comprehensive package.. wanted 2 PG and 1 VG, but was recommended for 2VG and 1PG package. They do childhood montage, same day photo slideshow and same day highlights for ur AD banquet. U can check them out if u interested. My package also includes instant prints.
