Hi gals

I am back!! Finally threw in the letter even though it feels really tough because the wedding is like so near and the HB will probably feel very stressed out with me jobless.

But then again, it is such a great relief! Apparently its just start of 2010 and i m the 3rd person to throw in the towel.

Enough of unhappy stuff. How is the gathering? I want to start doing the wedding stuff again! They have been very neglected for the past few weeks while i was trying to find myself.

Looking forward to my HK trip as well after CNY. Wonder if there is anything interesting there to get for the wedding. Only been there for a one day trip with the folks from my company 2 years back... just remembered the espirt factory outlet...

Yesterday I just tell the ladies that triumph outlet at city gate very cheap... then mango outlet and coach outlet I think now already open le... can go there and take a look... We are disturbing Ellen of getting the bras for us to start our 'illegal trading' at the mrt station.. hahaha... think the lady there will feel odd why so many cup sizes... =p *Ellen, dun kill me*

I have not sign up any packages, only managed to get Orchard Hotel Booking..

A lot of questions: Is THOMSON bridal reliable? The MUA is it good?? or do you have other MUA to recommend?

If I would want to work with photographers not tied to bridal packages, what do they usually offer (do they do Make Up as well??) hehe

Personally I don't like thomson bridal... heard that the package u sign up will be very cheap, but after u sign up,minor little things they will charge u here and there..and their gowns are not well mantained... my relative choose there and complain that the gown not properly clean... u can consider those BS that we sign up and we are willing to share the information with you. =)

What is ur expectation from ur PG? Any budget constraint? Usually they dun offer MUA, only their photoshooting services, but sometimes they have partners or MUA to recommend n refer u to them....

Usually a package consists of the AD gown, MUA, pre wedding shot, etc..but it really depends on what you need coz some ppl dun need some of the things mentioned in the package....

I tried the apple one last nite... love the fresh fragrance of apple, result seem not bad~ And think they are very generous in the essence in the mask... After an hour, the mask was still wet (it's on my face for one hour cos i fell asleep... hahahaha

Just wondering, possible to keep the mask in fridge and reuse? Saw my sister did this before....

My bridal room gowns are beri nice~~ my ex-colleague top up the pics and pay almost $7k for the whole package.. But worthwhile~~ keke~~

I heard from my frenz that they actually throw in another 50 inserts for them (as they only print inserts) free... 3cents is for inserts only?? How about cards? I am thinking of printing the cards with hot stamping..

In such a way, they will be more willing to help us too : ) another thing is to give & take too.. cos they oso out there to do business, we got to be reasonable . cannot always everything oso we benefit den they lose..

Went to Precious Moment before and found that their service was very good, not pushy at all, and they are able to customise package according to your budget. But in the end didn't go back to them cos a bit far for me... Took up New Image Collection @ IMM in the end

Ching Ching, now I also need to get nubra... the hook of mine spoilt last week... okie la it's quite old also... may check out the Sunshine Plaza place mauoshroom went. btw, the 200 cards for RM 280 is for inserts or hot stamping? I forgot...

The gatecrash was fun cos the groom had very 'on' brothers and there were lotsa funny scenes.. But my fren didn't engage a VG so there were no morning highlights shown during the bqt which I tot was a pity cos it would have been very entertaining to see how they suffered.. Haha..

Had a 4 hr gown fitting session today! Just kept trying and trying and had so many KIV gowns in the end.. Then had to select all over again from all the KIV gowns.. But finally managed to select all my 9 gowns.. Phew.. My bf tried to steal a shot or two but was caught and was told no photo-taking.. =P

Very excited abt PS this Thurs and Fri.. Will definitely share with u gals once i get my photos 3 weeks aft (Supp to be 2 weeks aft but my coordinator will be on leave so pushed back)

Nubra >> I heard the nubras @ Bencoolen is made in china and the one @ suntec pushcart is made in USA.. Not sure wats the diff but mine was from the suntec push cart cos the bencoolen shop wasn't ard when I got them last yr..

btw was reading on Flowerpod regarding the nubras... Apparently the shop at Sunshine Plaza is the official Nubra shop so what they are selling is the authentic nubras, though the Suntec one also said that theirs are original.

Yea need to get the nubra before PS next month... btw, you gals know if wearing corset, can still wear nubra? Initially i wanna use nubra only, but looking at the weather, think better to have corset/girdle to keep myself warm... huuu... >.<

I think the most impt is to know how to wear the nubra ba... I ever heard from a promoter that there's a way to wear to look 'busty'.. =p But too bad as she is selfish not to share if u are not buying her nubra. I'll go sunshine plaza to take a look, then to chinatown to rekee.....

The nubra I wore, bought from Sunshine Plaza. Saw the thread about the China vs US production too. Can't be bothered to find out which one is real or fake, too time consuming.
The one I bought at Sunshine Plaza (took from the website which ChingChing posted) the same one. At ground level.
The lady put on for me, taught me how to wear. The thing is, me slow learner, go back home, forget how to put on. Haha...
But when I went for Photo shoot, it was helped me to put on. (I was a satisfied customer of nubra). Haha

Okie lah. Can be worn for the one I bought. Think paid about 99bucks or something? In the website. I bought the silicon one.

Eh, NATAS fair in Feb ah..Think I'm not going in Feb lah coz I'm travelling in year end, won't be too late to go to the year end NATAS fair. Unless go and KPO, but sure alot of ppl. haha....

Hi babes,

Errm, maybe I share with u all how I wear my nubra.. Might not be the best or right way but works for me.. If want more cleavage, place both pads further apart.. Then when u clip, cleavage become more.. If u want to make ur bust like bigger, place the pads lower and further then will like push the top part become like bustier.. However u place, just make sure the 2 clips are like horizontally straight when u clip together..

btw, just found out that HK sells My Beauty Diary masks too, ranging from SGD $1~1.2 per piece depends on where you buy, but often OOS... I'll check it out when I go home ^_^ if you all wanna replenish stock by then, please let me know~

Starry.. my PS in Mar’10 &amp; my gowns are MTM. So I went in Oct’09 to choose &amp; select the designs etc.. going for my 1st gown fitting in Jan’10 (24/1/10). Think ard 1-2 mths b4 ur PS, the BS will ask u down for selection ba unless urs is MTM.

Anyway if u r worried that Mar’10 den choose gowns will be too late, maybe u can arrange to go down earlier with ur BS. Dun think is a prob

Girls.. jus wondering again.. u all wear nubra is becos u all say ur boobs are not big enough so need some padding right? While some of u say, wear nubra is becos of the cleverage.. so now wondering if dun wear, means no cleverage ma??

maoushroom, yours is the original brand for Nubra so it's gonna cost more, but feedback i read so far is good, so no problem for you~

After reading a long thread on Flowerpod... Think will check out Freebra (selling in Sinma) or the one from Cotton On. Freebra only costs $18, no harm trying since it's really affordable

Mrs Chua, to your question... yes for gals like me, even if wear i also doubt got any cleavage hahahahahaha. btw seems like Nubra is not good for bigger cup size cos not enough support or something like that....

I have a friend use Nubra but she dun have the kind of clevage that some gals have coz her boobs are big....Nubra cannot provide the support she needs.

If you just use your gown padding....too big, migt not have the push up effect..too small also no push up effect...so go back to Nubra. Haha

But I'm sure there are ways to create clevage or give support wihtout the need to wear nubra or buy nubra.

Maoushroom, I think in order to create the desired "effect", we need to practice on the wearing techniques... that's why i need to buy those cheap cheap one to practice~ spoil also nevermind hahaha

Actually last time I ever heard from my colleague that wear fashion tape and 'push' up e nubra will increase one cup size...hmm...i also not very sure how.. but when I told my HTB, he burst into laughter as he say he can't imagine during AD night he has to help me to take out the tape. Hi gals: I am back!!! Finally quit the job and then went for some interviews. Gastric has been acting up, hasnt been feeling well under stress and i kay kiang went to drink apple vinegar to detox.. haha... tmw got to go for endoscope... *scared*

I have just won an overseas photo shoot with Chris Ling Studio but I dont think I will be going for it... a lot of costs to bear... so ex might as well go for a holiday. But feel quite lucky le.. happy...

Dione: HOpe your PS is good.. when can select photos?

Ching Ching: I have never been to Natas Fair before. Izzit only good for booking packages? How about free and easy de? Havent tot about honeymoon yet... suddenly feel like wedding coming soon but I duno what to do le... shaking leg...

Next outing I think I be shaking leg some more at home le... jobless... So, think I can join! haha... Another place which i can suggest is the Sizzler salad bar... Suntec have also.

starry_83: Mine is JB de.. so I did PS liao... waiting for album now... cos i keep hearing need a lot of time if its JB, turn out they super fast. I took PS in Sep and choose pic in Oct and then view layout in Dec. They told me end Jan can get everything le. The WG is the more kan cheong part. They ask me to choose 2 wks before AD but i think too tight le for doing trial etc... will ask for about 2 months in advance bah.

Gals, I got silly qn to ask. Does this nubra replace the bra cups that are attached on the WG ah? Or must take those out then can wear nubra?

Sizzler salad bar is a good choice... the salad spread is quite wide~!

Hmmm as for the padding in WG... i guess it depends... If you feel that a nubra is not enough and need "double enhancement", maybe you can leave the padding behind... Or if you think just the paddings are sufficient, then you dun need nubra actually. i guess just either one will do, should be more comfortable than having both nubra and paddings~

oh ya, saw from somewhere that a bride mentioned that if we no wear bra for our gown on AD, den we beta prepare a set of bra to wear for kua. If nt, we will not be wearing bra inside the kua. Thus, I think if u girls are wearing nubra, dun have to worry of preparing a set of bra for kua.

Talking about Kuas, I remembered there is a custom that you must wear pyjamas inside the kua. Not sure this is for which dialect group though...

Nubra is not to replace to bra cup de...some say that it create cleavage...but for me is personal hygiene as I dunno how many BTBs try the same gown before me and dunno how long they never wash the gowns le... =p

Blur btb, my gastric is also getting worse during work, muz be too stressed. I did endoscope 2 yrs ago, nothing to worry and scare, doc will spray something to numb ur throat, then u will not feel anything even ur saliva, veri amazing.. I think u made a rite decision to quit ur job! Pls take care!!

I also seen at Blush blush, got 2 kinds, silicon one and cotton one, but dont know wat's the diff. I didn't buy coz dont even know how to wear! hehe.. I also worry Nubra cant give good support leh..
