wedding lunch sound like good idea but do people tend to wear very casual for lunch?
 
hi mscupid11, my BS is Bliss Bridal but venue yet to confirm. but most likely going for some cheap restaurants instead of hotels due to low budget.
 
hi all, sorry havent had the time to follow up. my AD is 21 Feb, chinese banquet on 23 feb, BS - V0lan at telok ayer =) i've booked everything yes i mean the bs, venue and looks like i m just waiting for time to pass...oh dear! dunno whats next

You and my sis have the same ROM date. I hope you dont mind me asking if you have ROM and AD seperate, which anniverisary do you celebrate??

To all the BTB who is looking for VG and PG, I suggest to look for PG that are affiliated with a VG or vice versa.
The reason is that you might get a discount and also you are sure know that they will coordinator well together.
Most importantly its easier for you to have liasie with both of them.

Above are just my thoughts for your reference.

Wow! I think HIPV and Grand Plaza City Hall are the popular Hotels for banquet.
I already know 6 couples having their wedding at HIPV and another 4 couples in Grand plaza at city hall

yup i reckon wedding luncheon is very popular now.. =)
i done my solemnization, i guess i understand where my parent's worries as my hubby side relative will takes longer time than my side...

we are in the midst of settling with dinner with either orchard hotel or goodwood park...

As we worked out the sum, somehow, the additional cost of splitting up the events, may even add up to be slightly cheaper then having AD dinner.. as such, we have sort of decided for dinner instead.

he stay ard yio chu kang a pte condo cant remb the condo name..

if not i guess u can sms him check if this residential no is his.

How did your split day sums up to be cheaper?
Are you settling for 1 weekend and 1 weekday (dinner)?

If both days falls on P.Hols or weekends, will not be any lesser.... n still need incurr spilt charges too. =)
 
Hey Jun & AD080809… I’m also having my wedding on 080809. Already booked at Goodwood Park for wedding dinner and also booked my church and lunch recep. Am planning to start looking at bridal studios somewhere in aug.
 
i am also a march 09 btb...torn between 21and 22 march..still thinking..but then had already booked my bridal package with White Link ...
hmmmmmm now, its to keep slim n fit argh argh

yup went for gown fitting.. and decided on my WG. Will be selecting my EG next month.. dun worry, the gowns are really beautiful.. i had a hard time deciding which to reserve.. hehe..

any VG to recommend? I intend to have VG to video down the morning stuff like gate crashing and tea ceremony etc. Then edit the video to show the video during wedding dinner, on the same day.

I've asked one VG but he said he's not able to do it, unless I top up extra.
 
oh btw i've just confirmed on my AD PG & VG.. A distant relative actually.. and he's pretty good! my hubby's sis actually got him for her wedding day too.. =)
 
seems like everyone gg for their first fitting liao, i think i beta call my BS fast. no news from them yet.
Btw, for my AD PG n VG im planning to use coffee & tea dreamworks, yet to confirm. what do your think?

Hi AD080809, I will be going to view the banquet setup mid May. U did the viewing before? Any pictures taken? if there is, can email to [email protected]. If I were to sign up, I have got no choice but to take up Anson Room for the banquet. Other than the price difference, how about the theme? Is there any theme offer in the function room? function room should be as big as the suite right since the max capacity is 32table?

What additional perks u have requested?
