s'rene, you just wanna make a slide show of the photos or have those animation and stuff? I know of a Freeware which you can select the photos and it auto converts into a slideshow for you. It's irfanview. You can run a search on google for this.

I did some photo montages for my friends for their wedding but actually getting the videographer company to do for my own wedding as it's in the package.

You may consider Jumbo and Noble House as they are very responsive...I received a call from Jumbo and they are acting on it already...not too sure about Tung Lok as I got the package directly from Noble House when I dined there :P
 
I'm cool with both options. Though Option 2 is preferred

For my ROM, PJ service is very good le. That why i like it so much. The one who serve me is Kenny, Manager. I even recommend my frd to him, my frd also said his service very good and friendly.
For Noble house, i heard from them that they are closing down or moving at end of Feb 2008. You better check with them again.
 
Hi Jule, I have Irfanview in my comp already. I use them to re-size my photos. Didn't know they can do slideshows too. I went to take a look but can't figure how to run the show after I've selected the pictures...

my bf & me hv agreeded to hold our wedding in March next yr too. But I am waiting for bf to be back from out-station to inform our parents & see the guy who reads Tong Shu see if the date is suitable for us. but should be 90% confirm. I am suprised to see so many ppl hv decided already

our MPC is catholic based cos my husband is a catholic. also, we need to be certified by this course in order to get married in church.

it was quite an enriching experience. prepared us for issues in marriage. i think it's really worth the time to go. u'll get to know more about ur partner. =)

If you are having in march next year, have you booked your dinner banquet, bridal studio and stuff? Cos some popular hotels are already fully booked for some dates in march. So better act fast. the date that i wanted was booked in marriot in march this year. So i have to look for other alternative. ( :

I also wanted to sign up with GPPR, but all the dates were taken. I was also very disappointed. Guess I thought that I am fast, but you are faster. Haha

I am also planning to go for the marriage prep course but I was away for a month. Hence we are currently have yet to attend one. Most likely it would be next month or Oct.

And that day happens to be my brother's 7th wedding anniversary..too!

I know there are many consideration involved. But it's best that the hotels can have standby function room to cater for you just in case the weather is bad...or what are the things they are able to provide you with..

Although it's tiring and might have hicups during the wedding preparation...but I really enjoy the process of getting busy, getting involve and looking forward.

Frm wat I gathered frm the shifu, in Oct if we r toking abt Fri, Sat and Sun, i think 5th, 11th, 17th and 18th are d gd dates...
 
Hi Addy, an auspicious date for me may not be an auspicious date for you as it'll depends on both you & your SO's date & time of birth. & if you're seeking a geomancer's advice, they'll even advise you which are the people that will clash with this date. As for online system, different system have different calculations for good days for marriage. Therefore, if you're concerned about getting a good date, do consult a geomancer.
 
You may ask why I'll post what I posted above. Reasons very simple. it's was widely known that the date 070707 is a good day for marriage, right? But in actual fact, this date actually clashes with a zodiac sign (Monkey) & in particular, those born in certain years. For layman such as ourselves, are unable to read/find from website or tongshu.

It is recommended that you consult a geomancer if you're particular about the date. Coz they will be the best person to advise you after calculating your bazhi and both parents D.O.B.

I wanted July 08 but was told that it is not an auspicious day for us hence, was provided 11th or 18th Oct.
 
I also have found AD PG and VG. Confirming them is time critical as usually they are 1-2 man business. Once booked by a couple, they cant take on other jobs. If your AD is a popular date, it is better to confirm them fast.

Generally, there are a few very good dates like 11th & 18th Oct but still depend on whether your zodiac sign clash with that date you want.

i very kan jiong one... want to settle all these so that i wont vex so much later on...

we initially shortlisted 3 places for the banquet but the other 2 were too small... we went GPPH a week b4 the bridal fair to recee... found that the place is not bad, n besides the most important thing to us is that it is centrally located...

we had also stayed at GPPH b4 and we found it not too bad... so when we heard of all the perks given during the bridal show, we immediately decided to book it... hehe...

so where r u holding ur banquet?

btw, share good news! i gotten a job liao. now can start saving up for wedding! kekeke. am planning to go back for a short short bit in dec - think like 10 days. anyone know what i shld prioritize to check out? hotel/restaurant, photographer/videographer? anyth more impt?
