About the Ba Kut Teh meal, i enjoyed myself with my girlfriends and start to forget the whole incident liao.. What she showed was from a magazine article le, not the shop print by themselves one.. Maybe it was an old article hor? hehe..

The top brand thingy was by a book, doubt it's based on sales or anything.. hehe..

We did try the Sealy ones, but not as comfy as Serta's.. Then we tried the Simmons ones, comfy enough with good support lo.. hehe..

Actually we not super sure on the deal, we only agreed to pay a deposit cos the lady allowed us to pay just $68 to reserve the current deal then the rest can pay interest free instalments and start paying only next year!

So we actually intend to source further lo, just in case there's a beta mattress or deal elsewhere..

How much do u gals' mattresses cost? And did u gals buy from showroom or warehouse? My budget about $2000. Ten fifteen years later then invest in a much beta one

Gals, My reno handover tdy....mixed feelings, sad and happy. Felt sort of loss as hd been busy previously from discussion to fully done....suddenly like no more workers coming in etc......

I can understand how u feel... though mine not much of reno done but during that period, mi & my FH and his family took turns to be @ my hse to tell them exactly what we want things to be and go buy toilet accessories, lightings, etc... wow really super busy... then suddenly when it's all done... like very free liao lor... but of course, gotta clean up lor... lots of washing to do... my nails after all the washing till today, yet to recover yet...

Mine somemore resales hse... so alot of built-in that we like so nvr remove... but need abit of cleaning to make it looks like it's new...

Think only if yr contractor do flooring for you then they would wash lor... but if u have other contractors who come & drill holes later for some reasons... they would not be cleaning for u lah...

Plus... quite standard u would wanna do a washing myself coz dun trust the contractor mah... hheheheh...

oic.... mi didn't do any flooring too... and my contractors do minimum renovation like painting, electric works & piping for water heater.... so of course, they're not going to do acid wash without charging extra...

Not too sure if I understand it correctly but one of the contractors that I went to told me that they factor in the cost for acid wash for those 'Full renovation' and each wash cost abt $250... which I feel very bo hua also... for those who hasn't done their renovation yet, may wanna confirm this point, get yr contractor to give u a more detail breakdown cost... some of the charges can be quite ridiculous... better be careful...

So when all the dry ice effect, those mist ... they start march in very slowly only after Kelly Chen start to sing her 1st phrase .Everyone listen to the song, feel the song 1st, then they march in... Suddenly i feel so romantic..... Ha Ha... At that moment, i tell myself, i wan lover concerto as my wedding March in...

after seeing a few contractors lor... that's y we decided eventually not to go wif a 'renovation contractor' but to get individual contractors for each area of work... they would save on the 'commission' that renovation contractor charge. But of course, that would mean abit more work & supervision for us lor... but quite okie for us since our renovation is very mimimal...

I supposed it shld be, coz my gf lost 2kg within a week, and her fat fren lost 5kg in a mth. of coz results varies from person to person. But what I understand from their brouchure is that other than weight losing (through increase metabolic rates and clearing toxins in the body), it helps to maintain good health too. They are quite honest in their brouchures abt temp side-effects like body aching, gas, and frequency to go toilet in the 1st few days when u start the program, but all these side-effects would go off when ur body gets detoxified. But not very ex, a btl cost abt $99, gives abt 62 servings, each meal replacement costs avg $1.60. It comes in powder form,and 1 tablespoon to mix into ur fav drink for every meal. Although I have to admit it doesn't taste very fantastic. I experimented with honey water ystday, taste horrible, but when I tried with milo this morning, yummy....my gf told me best would be with low-fat choho ,milk,and it would become something like a choco milk-shake taste. not bad.....I haven't seen results yet, since this is oni the 2nd day I'm on it. I would be going away on a 7days trip to the middle-east, so during that trip I would go fully on the meal replacement and within that week, I shld be able 2 see if results are good. Coz I would be going to my tailor there and measurements b4 and after shld give me a rough guage on how much I manage to lose within that week.... this meal replacement oso helps to prevent cancer etc.on the overall, it would improve health conditions, and becoz its organic, every ingredient in it is natural, o preservatives,additives etc....

I may not be young but sharing my views and opinions, and ta3 bao1 bu4 ping2 is oni natural coz we gals are very connected here. Guess from an outsider's point of view, u prob wun understand our bonding here! hehe....so I wouldn't say that this has got to do with being childish....but perhaps a new word to learn here is EMPATHY, meaning to put urself in the person's shoes and try to understand how she felt. that's what we gals here noe and therefor able to understand the kind of frustrations zoeanne has, and hence those views. (from the so-called 1-sided story) Anyway, when we share how we feel, we oso din say that we have to be necessary right abt all things.
For the records,it's not that Zoeanne volunteer to tell the story, just that she was upset, and we were the 1s to encourage her to vent it out and tell us what happen. childish? ya lor, that's y initially I oni PM josie, but since more of u asked, so I decided to save myself the hassle, share this on line so for all to read. This meal replacement a recomendation fr my gf....she oso got it through a fren, so dun thk avail in the mkt. As 4 frequency of replacement, it's entirely up to u, actually after taking the meal replacement, u can still eat, but eat little lor....for me, I plan to replace bfast and lunch,and then have light dinner.coz this prdt energizes u as well, if take too late,scared at nite cannot slp. but what ur hubby say is true abt not eating fat food at nite, coz it's close to bed-time, less activities to burn off the fats, unless u stay up to do things, or u are taking supplements that aids burning of fats even when u sleep. This is proven by me, hehe, coz I used to have supper almost every nite, and I boom to 59kg during that period of time. Now, I try not to eat after 10pm. like last mth, been eating moon-cake every middle of the nite while I chase TVB drama serial, that's why ended up putting on 3kg and 2inches on my waist and hips! very regretful.....

yup, me going Dubai (in middle east oso mah...) crew got a regular tailor there,material very cheap, workmanship oso cheap, but see luck, coz sometimes ur dream design may not appear the way u want it to be, coz their specialty actually is making suits. but if u have an exact piece to show, they should be able to make and exact replica. If oni can bring oil back, I would be filthy rich, now that oil prices soaring like mad....

maybe u wait for me try out 1st, if good I ask my fren to get for u all....original price, no mark-up,( I not mktg and profitg from it 1,so dun worry, price stated on the btl)coz I oni hear her say it's good, but I can't be certain unless I see results for mtself. Dun want to recommend, ask u gals to try scarli not effective,then pai seh.... coz I've tried Cambridge diet meal replacement but not effective on me...so a little bit doubtful abt this 1...By end of this mth if got results then if u gals still interested I ask my fren to get for all of us k?
