Pausini, actually I must say you look really really good in your montage. Always wanted to tell you but forgot.
Wow..got hotels provide free projectors? My hotel charges $400 for one projector and I would need 2. Think I'll borrow from my workplace and the colleague in charge (good buddy) has agreed.
I am more free now, due to SARS (sigh, sigh). School closes from now till 6th April so I don't have to go to work from now till then. Don't know if it's good or bad because my honeymoon is affected. And now I don't know if I can still go on my honeymoon. I've afterall paid for my air tickets.

SARS sound scary! i got sensitive nose so i can cold easily. Now with the SARs it make me even terrible. Whenever, i start having running nose, i will go and take medicine fast. To me fever normally come after flu or cold. If i stop my cold, i most likely wldnt not get fever.

Yoga won slim, but yoga and pilates stretches and tones your muscles.. if you do it the right way..
Combined with cardiovascular exercises, think will be able to lose the fats and tone it up preety fast.
Went for my pilates ysday (1st time)... and can feel the stretch.. today aching all over.. keke.. Amore is good.. cos all females.. so no nid feel self conscious!

may need to get a gridle for better effect

Taddess, I'm a teacher. We had an emergency staff meeting this morning. As you can imagine, many school plans have been affected.
Beibei, my wedding is right at the end of the June holidays as I'll be leaving the service after that. Still no plans for honeymoon yet. Our plans are so far not affected by the change of school holidays, though we'll just have a little less time to do those last-minute preps, that's all.

But in the New Paper today it says that 2 weeks is extended into June holis to cover this 1 week of absence leh. If sch holi begin 7th June, then it's 1 week only leh. Could be the New Paper news not very new leh.

Oh, forgot to tell u that i also went down to take a look at the corset thingy. I'm still considering whether to buy it or not...i know for sure i cannot wear it under my evening gown coz the corset will show very obviously under the silk. So i can only wear it under the bridal gown ... dunno whether i should spend that $60+ and never wear again ....

HiHi, how's everyone? I went to the travel fair last weekend & booked my honeymoon to NZ with Chan Bro. Will be going for my final fitting before my PS next Fri. I think I'm the last May bride here to take photos.
Hi Shook: If you want to play your montage, just play it once before the 1st or 2nd march-in. If I'm not wrong, u mentioned something abt playing it repeatly before the dinner starts. Pls dun do that becos some guests might not be watching it. That's what happended to one of the dinner I attended. Most of us were busy talking & never bother to watch the montage.

Shook: That is fine, just see whether she can continue from there. I also agree with Sue not to play the montage many time. The lesser the precious! What Jas77 did is, the emcee will march in 1st. Thanks the guest for attending the dinner and announce that we play a short montage on the couple. Here, we caught everyone attention, as the dinner is starting. SO EVERY1 NOT MORE TALKING!!!! then we play the montage. All the guests are very attentive watching it. Once it is done, Emcee will ask the guests to stand up and welcome the couple.
Oh i happen to have a new idea on the montage but i may need to do the effect on ur wedding pix. Since u havent it, i see whether i can do a sample on Jas77 pix to show u. U can show it to ur FH's niece, to ask her to do on ours if u like it.

regarding the aerobics part... i think it depends on individual... used to go aerobics 2 to 3 times a week b4 i come KL for assignment...so even since i come kl.. i stopped going.. i think went u start aerobics... u tends to get hungry easily so u eat more.. then after u stopped aerobics.. u continue to consume the same amount of food but u did not burn.. so put on weight lor.. so no mater aerobics or no aerobics... control intake still okie...

Hmm.. i signed on the 6 months unlimited package during the promo and got 1 mth free. my 6 mths cost me S$660. i signed with a fren, but don't mind going along since they hv a branch just next to my office building.. actually quite fun to go alone and get to know new people.. And for unlimited, i can choose to go any time of the week to any lessons/gym. no restriction.
Amore.. yeah, i usualy go to Tiong Bahru. not so many people also.. the crowded ones will be bugis and orchard i guess.
Going for my massage tomorrow..

HI Shook: My friend did it during 2nd march in. The MC annouced that the couple will be coming in again & before they march in, would like to show a montage of the couple. Therefore, he got the attention of everybody. At the end of the show, the ballroom door opened & the couple marched in.

Wow, i tried it on, and it really shaved a few inches off my waist !!! My skirt was fitting when i went into the fitting room, but with the corset on, i could turn the skirt round and round my waist with no problems !!!!
The corset is v good, it "compressed" my tummy below the waist as well as the stomach above the waist !!!
Aiyah, looks like the corset i bought from M&S has gone to waste already.
Amerline: thanks for your suggestion! I ended up buying 2 thongs from the Triumph soft range. Supposed to be seamless etc, and the salesgirl there managed to convince me that the only way not to have VPL is to wear thongs. So i bought to try ... 1 for $19 or 2 for $25. Of course i buy 2 lah...
So weird right, so far i only have 2-3 thongs and i hate them all. So i've never worn them, but suddenly for wedding, i bought 2.
Worst still, after i paid for thr triumph ones, i went over to wacoal to buy the corset. When i was there, i found another thongs that are even softer and smoother than the triump ones. This one more expensive; 1 piece for $20. Ouch .... but again coz for wedding, so i ended up buying.
My total damage? $108. OUCH !!!
By the way, i went to M&S to look for seamless panties also. The skin tone ones were 5 for $45, cannot buy individually.
Yay, now that i got everything together, i shall wear my corset to my 2nd fitting tonight !!
(My designer told me that you should wear the intended set of shoes, jewellery and lingerie for your fittings so that the dress can be altered to perfection.)

Hi Pausinin, ladies, long time no "see". Been xtrenely BZ (what's new??) with work, no time to come in.
I wasn't really happy wiht my PS bec I think the fella caught me in angles that were not very complementary. I guess I was also expecting good results bec my makeover shots were much better (see, I told you ladies that makeover shots worthwhile and cheaper too!). But anyway, I manage to chose enough to form an album.
And yes, my studio is the infamous one down the rd from Jazreel. They had assigned a actual day photographer. I managed to check with other brides from the same place and this fella seems ok so I'll go along with him.
And I'm from admin. Never imagined that admin wld be so bad/BZ? well, it is, it's very bad! Been reduced to tears of frus a few times lately. That's why I dun have time to do fancy stuff for my wedding. Just staying alive now is more impt.....Can't help but feel envious when you ladies yak on abt doing this and that......I believe I cld do a good job too bec I like dabbling in all these artistic stuff, but I just got no time!!!
Anyway, I just finished buying the bulk of my furniture and am very pleased with it bec I think I got a fantastic deal. I've been hunting for so long, look here, there, go to big shops, small shops. FInally I decided to go for those shops in HDB estates. Do you know that you can find in their catalogues a lot of the same stuff you can see in big shops like Harvey Normam, Courts, Aero Furnishings? But they go at a much cheaper price? For e.g there's this TV sideboard which I bought at this HDB shop for $500. I saw the same item at Aero for $750??!! A computer table was listed $249 at Harvey, but the same table was sold for only $140 at this shop in Serangoon.
I bought 10 pieces of furniture altogether for only $2800. Cld be cheaper but I bought it from 2 diff shops. THey include, TV sideboard, 6+1 dining set, 3-door full ht wardrobe, glass panel shoe rack, glass coffee table, solid wood telephone table, closed/glass book shelf, Queen Dunloppilo mattress (Orthocare series, pocketed spring, with free mattress protector), wooden stools. There was a lot of bargaining but they are quite chin chye. Free delivery/assembly too. Now wait and see if quality live up to the pictures.......will be delivered in Apr......
Are you ladies worried that the SARs thing will affect your dinner attendance? I am. Hope it will start to dwindle and hte prob dies down.....

yup i will be having a church wedding in june too
we had ROM to make hubby's parent's happy.. cos they r not catholic and it's hard to convince them that having the solemnisation in church is legal too.. so we decided to have ROM also
we will also do solemnisation in church too.. a 2nd time .. this time in presence of my God
so both my parents and his parents will be happy..

Hmmm...u gd @ shopping yar. Sourcing 4 furniture is another big project. So now u completed another big project. Phew, another tick.
Times r bad. Every company try to squeeze their employee to the fullest. My colleague said like making sugar cane juice, go over n over the squeezer. No more juice put some water n continue to squeeze. Me still working. Tml still gotta work (suppose to b 5 day week) coz there is a major project going on. I m actually not involved in the project. Being suck in as dead line draws near. Sigh....

Times r bad. Every company try to squeeze their employee to the fullest. My colleague said like making sugar cane juice, go over n over the squeezer. No more juice put some water n continue to squeeze. Me still working. Tml still gotta work (suppose to b 5 day week) coz there is a major project going on. I m actually not involved in the project. Being suck in as dead line draws near. Sigh....
