hi all , Im facing a situation now whereby im having my rom in December. AD in end of 2015. My HTB's friend is getting married in mid jan 2015. Can we still attend their wedding ? I have read through some forums saying that , it is best to avoid in case both clashes , if really have to attend you have to go in pair .. etc.. Anyone can give advise on this as we are very concerned about this . Thanks

If you believe in these superstitions then better not go. For me, I wouldn't be bothered. Will our marriage have problems just because we attended someone else's wedding? I think I'd put more trust in our own effort when it comes to maintaining our relationship.

If you believe though, I heard it's within 3 months of each other's wedding? If you take your AD date to be "The Day" then it's ok? since it's so far from the other wedding. If you take your ROM date then it will definitely be too close. Never heard about the part of attended alone or going together though.

When I did my dates selection with a feng shui master, he said need to avoid weddings 100 days before and after your own wedding.. Better to stick to it ba..

I only heard from my mum after married avoid going to other people wedding for like 3 month. For me eventhough is superstition but I rather be obedience and listen to the elderly advise of not attending. If not will feel not at ease.

Actually is better to stick to it , after all is for your own good...in fact alot of such chinese traditions things..
For me i just got to know my AD mua is pregnant , due to my parents being very traditional , I have to cancel my appointment even though i really like her works so much...
