We just celebrated our wedding and had Yvonne Creative as our bridal studio and I wanted to share on our good experience with them.
We had a really great coordinator - Jean. She was very patient as I visited the shop multiple times trying to search for a dress for my wedding luncheon. We must have had at least 4-5 appointments and each time I still couldn't make up my mind and yet she patiently listens to my woes and tries to help me find a solution.
I had a custom-made wedding dress from YC and already knew the style/ design I wanted but Yvonne helped me to select the fabrics and lace patterns which worked out beautifully. I'm not an expert but I thought the workmanship was really good and I had many compliments on my wedding dress on the actual day too.
We chose to only have a studio shoot and didn't have any choice in the photographer or makeup artist but the afternoon was fun and photos turned out great. Our makeup artist, who also did my actual day makeup, was very good and she knew how to play up my features and matched the makeup to my outfit and the event. Hair & makeup all turned out very well. My greatest worry was that I would look "wayang" in thick makeup, but I'm glad to say it looked very natural - I looked like myself but just "enhanced"/better which was the look I was going for.
To all future brides who are considering YC, I strongly recommend that you visit the store to take a look at their gown selections. My only gripe is that I couldn't find a gown that I liked enough for my luncheon and hence ended up tailoring a gown separately with another seamstress. So it is important that you visit the store to make sure that the style of dresses (both wedding and lunch/evening gowns) are up to your expectations and liking. I only saw a couple of samples at the bridal fair and hence really only have myself to blame when it came down to searching for the lunch dress.
However, in all other aspects, I had a great time with Yvonne Creative - they were very kind to me and my hubby in all our requests and tried their best to make sure we had our best foot forward for our big day.

i got married in May 2012 and signed up for an Actual Day package with YC. At first i thought i had a pretty good deal, but when i came to this forum and saw what others got,i didn't think it was that good a deal anymore. All i had was just really the basics.
Overall, i had a pretty okay experience with YC because i think that the staff there were nice. my wedding coordinator was Fiona and she is one nice, patient and professional lady. very helpful and sincere. i really liked her.
Services aside however, i am definitely not impressed with their style of dresses, both day and evening gowns. I only found one white gown that i quite liked, but was still not perfect. In the end, i made to measure a similar one, perfecting details which were important to me. Evening gown selections are really limited and very outdated to me. Hence, i got my mum to select a dress for herself instead while i got my evening gowns elsewhere.
my actual day photographer was also someone who works with YC. and i must say that i was extremely disappointed with the photos, which seemed really unpolished and with outdated styles. and i also feel that he failed to capture my hubby and i, in the best light possible. Even my hubby's friends photos turn out better

I just got married early this month and i also use yvonne creative for my AD bridal package. I did not have a very good experience with them so i really think that any brides that are interested in this shop should really make a trip down and see for yourself whether you want to engage their services for your wedding!
I agree with many comments on the internet that the sales are very good... they say that whatever we want for the gown or flowers we can whatsapp them and communicate what we want... But in actual fact we did not get this kind of personalised service... it was just normal book appointment, try gown, edit gown, collect gown, return gown process.... the actual coordinator which we got gave us a bad service nothing like what their salesperson talked about before we signed for their package... They have a lot of white gowns... minimal evening gowns.... if u walked along the corridors you will notice that they have very untidy store as compared to the other bridal stores... on the second/ third level they merely hang and squeeze the gowns.... no like those protector to cover every single gown.... mirrors on first floor looked poorly managed.... the fitting rooms are not spacious.... because their hang a lot of gowns on the hanger... i saw bags of gowns in the fitting room... it's just very messy as compared to the other bridal stores i have seen... i really regretted not going down to their store before we signed them!!!
The flowers were kind of poorly stored for my wedding when we collected them... in those chiffon cake transparent plastic boxes... my bridesmaid corsage which i requested for fresh flowers were squashed from round to some longish shape... absolutely disappointing and when i called to ask why is it like that she said that's because the flower is not round in shape!!! -_-" but they are not long and flat either.... Make up artist was so-so.... in fact i have a bit of infection under my eye lid on the actual day... causing the skin under the eye lid to be dry and when she applied the make up she used so much force to rub that skin area that it bleed and it was so painful that i had to ask my MUA to be more gentler.... i don't know what make-up they used.... but it caused my sister's skin to be irritated and she had to endured the itch the whole night during my dinner banquet... their gowns design are normal and repeatedly plain... the coordinators are not professional... very difficult for us to make appointments with them.... when we called them they would say they our coordinator is on second floor and asked us to call another number for the second floor.... very strange and troublesome... very bad service... or maybe we have been spoilt by our taiwan pre-wedding bridal shop!!!
If you want to spoil your own wedding experience choosing yvonne creative is a risk u take.... i spoiled my own wedding experience by not doing enough research to know that this is a lousy bridal shop.... and just for gowns and miscellaneous items this pkg cost me 2688 sg dollars!!! not including videography and photography!!!... I engaged Livestudios for AD and i must say mike did a beautiful job for my AD wedding and he is such a nice person to work with!! He made us very comfortable with him and he's so friendly!! all my guests love the instant photocards!! My videography from iriswave!!! also another awesome guy!!! Now waiting for our video of the AD!!! =)
All in all Yvonne creative is really bad... but it's over and i can't do anything else... but my wedding is still awesome!! because all other parts of the wedding was beyond perfect... my brothers and sisters were awesome... all my guests with me on my wedding day!! so still a great wedding!!!

I didn't sign up with Yvonne Creative, but my friend did, 2 years ago. And just by accompanying her to select her gowns there is enough to make me NOT want to sign up with them. Attitude-wise ok.. But the gowns are quite orbit in my opinion.
Their selection of evening gowns is v limited and it was so difficult to find out for my friend that is not tacky or orbit. In the end she chose a cream-coloured one for her evening gown, which looks quite close to a white gown... But that's the nicest we could find alr cos the other coloured ones are really not nice!
To me the gown selection is the most impt, so I really wouldn't suggest this bridal boutique. Plus there were no seating area outside the changing area and after helping my friend gown after gown, me and another friend were very tired, and ending up just sitting on the floor.

I was told by several of my close friends that everything within a package must clearly be indicated in the invoice, else risk getting played out by the BS. Always always double check. My hubby has 2 friends who were YC brides. They were actually very happy with YC's services and I'm quite surprised at the errr not so pleasant reviews when I'm checking out SB forum to do some homework for my BS shopping.

Hi all BTB! I want to share my experience with YC as my wedding just end. I took up their package on sept last year because I really like their selections. when I took up their package I didnt check the review beforehand and when I reach home my hubby went online to check the review. initially we were quite worried, but when we went down for our first appointment the feeling which we had were all gone. Our coordinator was Cheryl and she was very patient towards me as I am a very fussy bride. She advice me on what kind of gowns is suitable for my body shape and what kind of gowns I should avoid but she still let me try on those gown which she mentioned was not suitable for my body to understand what she meant. I had to come down for a second time for my hubby's suit as we had to rush off for our banquet appointment.
Photo shoot wise, we get to see a few of their photographers samples and we chose one of their photographer name "Haha" and Cheryl arranged the photographer to meet us to discuss on on the details of the photo shoot. Throughout the discussion, he was making us laugh and bringing up the mood and it's the small things like that which made us feel comfortable during our time there. After the photo shoot we came down to do our photo selection and we were really happy with the results, my hubby and I both agreed to add more photos and we split the cost between us, so 2k each!
The MUA for our photo shoot is the same one as on our actual day and she is really good on enhancing my features and covering my flaws, hehe.
All in all me and my hubby is very satisfied with the service and the end product which we got from YC. Have already recommended one of my friend there to take up their services. So for all the BTB thinking whether to take up with them, I would definitely recommend! At least for me!

Just signed up a package with YC but am quite worried after seeing many negative reviews online..
For makeup pre wedding I was told that they only do makeup once and no change of makeup for the rest of the day as the photos will be photoshopped while they will change the hairdo when we go back to the shop for change of gown. was it the same previously? Any experiences to share? Thanks..

I also signed up YC.. the make up artise is with me all the way in studio.. then when I came bk fm outdoor she also there to touch up and change hairdo..
I only dun really like the photographer. . he took. 300 plus pics. then the day to see pics we he keep standing beside us to give us pressure to take more pics... we refused to take more than 40 pics his reaction changed.. give a black face.. then the view for the additional pics u can see that is really nice at all.. very disappointed.. if I have a chance I will not choose YC

My wedding date is in December 2014, and I am already having bad experience with Yvonne Creative. During the signing of package, it was Yvonne who personally sold the package to me, together with another staff.
Yvonne had shown me whatsaps messages she has with other BTB, giving a false impression that she will be personally involved in my wedding coordination. However I was assigned a coordinator (Fiona). Fiona tries to help me with gown selection, however either the existing gowns are limited or her resources are limited. I tried to speak to Yvonne when I saw her, but was kinda given a cold shoulder. She does not look as helpful as when she tried to sell me the package.
Yvonne had also assured me that there will be dresses available for both mothers and my sisters even after I told her that we are all plus-sized. However selection for mothers is limited. And in the weddings that I attended, the sisters usually were the similar dresses well-coordinated. However the dresses offered to my sisters are actually old wedding gowns! which definitely do not look like sisters' dress. But my mothers and sisters are nice enough to accept anyway since I have already taken the package.
Service from Fiona is lukewarm. She seems like a difficult person to ‘click’ with. There is low rapport that is typical of a cheeful and helpful wedding coordinator, and she does not seem to be willing to go extra mile. I asked about makeup artist and photographer, she simply said they will call me personally. I feel so stranded and helpless at times.
Overall, my impression is not good and they are the most crucial in the wedding planning. I can’t help but compare to the great photoshoot experience at Taiwan. I only hope things will turn up well…. Sigh…

Yvonne had also assured me that there will be dresses available for both mothers and my sisters even after I told her that we are all plus-sized. However selection for mothers is limited. And in the weddings that I attended, the sisters usually were the similar dresses well-coordinated. However the dresses offered to my sisters are actually old wedding gowns! which definitely do not look like sisters' dress. But my mothers and sisters are nice enough to accept anyway since I have already taken the package.
Service from Fiona is lukewarm. She seems like a difficult person to ‘click’ with. There is low rapport that is typical of a cheeful and helpful wedding coordinator, and she does not seem to be willing to go extra mile. I asked about makeup artist and photographer, she simply said they will call me personally. I feel so stranded and helpless at times.
Overall, my impression is not good and they are the most crucial in the wedding planning. I can’t help but compare to the great photoshoot experience at Taiwan. I only hope things will turn up well…. Sigh…
I had a v v bad experience with the photographer name ''Sky''. When the day I went to choose my wedding pics and I refused to take more. . just 10 extra piece. . and it cost me almost extra 1k.. then he shown us his attitude.. he became so inpatient.. and then next round when we went down to see the final pics.. Sky totally ignore us and shown us a cold shoulder
their gowns and evening gowns are v v v limited design.. the photographer ''Sky'' really too attitude and showing us black face when we refused to take more pics.. I totally regreted to choose Yvonne creative. . the only pls was that my coordinator was v nice patient and helpful. . soooo disappointed with the service... kindly consider when u choose the bride shop

glad that YC was overall great experience for you! Have read so many negative reviews that I'm rather worried now.....Hi all BTB! I want to share my experience with YC as my wedding just end. I took up their package on sept last year because I really like their selections. when I took up their package I didnt check the review beforehand and when I reach home my hubby went online to check the review. initially we were quite worried, but when we went down for our first appointment the feeling which we had were all gone. Our coordinator was Cheryl and she was very patient towards me as I am a very fussy bride. She advice me on what kind of gowns is suitable for my body shape and what kind of gowns I should avoid but she still let me try on those gown which she mentioned was not suitable for my body to understand what she meant. I had to come down for a second time for my hubby's suit as we had to rush off for our banquet appointment.
Photo shoot wise, we get to see a few of their photographers samples and we chose one of their photographer name "Haha" and Cheryl arranged the photographer to meet us to discuss on on the details of the photo shoot. Throughout the discussion, he was making us laugh and bringing up the mood and it's the small things like that which made us feel comfortable during our time there. After the photo shoot we came down to do our photo selection and we were really happy with the results, my hubby and I both agreed to add more photos and we split the cost between us, so 2k each!
The MUA for our photo shoot is the same one as on our actual day and she is really good on enhancing my features and covering my flaws, hehe.
All in all me and my hubby is very satisfied with the service and the end product which we got from YC. Have already recommended one of my friend there to take up their services. So for all the BTB thinking whether to take up with them, I would definitely recommend! At least for me!

Hey cookiesdecream, actually the purpose of my review was because there are many bad reviews which I think is unfair to them. Overall their service is really good. I think it's important for you to not worry so much because it will only affect your own mood during the process of the preparation for your happy moment

I took up the package last year but we are only getting married in March 16. Will be able to give my review only next year. Hopefully mine will be as positive as yours =)
Hehe, my colleague who took up the package with them actually told me their gowns are REALLY GORGEOUS. She just recently went to YC to choose her ROM gown and was shown to the pretty AD gowns by their helpful staff. She also mentioned that the staff was friendly and patient. *thumbs up so far*
