I just had my wedding w this studio.. But I vvv dislike their service... Cos they ask u to go for fitting but in the end the gown or the suit will nvr be ur size cos they will still lend others.. during my PS they still last min cos they lend out the suit the previous day. N my hubby have to wear the oversize suit cos we have no time.
And during my AD, they promise to give all suit 3days before but in the end they call us up that my hubby suit unable to collect cos they need it for photoshoot.. And they insist they are nt in the wrong...as they mention that they still give me before my wedding..
I just fill that their service is vv bad.. U may consider again..

My planner is Jeanne.. But during end march she was on preg leave therefore all went wrong.. Even though I wanted to go fitting I m push to pp that are free... Then they can tell me. I have my own customer to attend to...

juz bk fm YC.. Thumbs up for their services... !! i love their gowns alot too.. they hv gowns tat suits my taste.. the v 1st wedding gown i tried on, i already love it le...
MTM my evening gown.. v good services provided by them.. still tinking of my wedding gown the moment i step out from YC.. haha..

Visited YC last week, dun really like the sales person there. She keep saying about other bridal shop..feel that she is not professional at all. In the end decided not to sign with them. As there are other more sincere and professional ppl out there.
I always thought YC is a very famous bridal shop as they are the only bridal shop in SG hold show. However after accompany my friend for fitting, I DO NOT recommend any of my friends to sign up with them.
My friend which she just went fitting on Monday with another GF told me she only had try 10 gowns only. 5 wedding and 5 evening gowns! I was shock when she showed me the pictures. I asked why she only try 10 for the duration of 3 hr??? And it look all the same to me, also YC give all the dark color aunty gown to let my friend try on it. My friend told me they told her they don't have light pastel color gown at all!
I don't believe thus I take a day off and accompany her to YC again. Understand that you need to have an appointment to do fitting. But before hand I already called and check that they only have 1 client on Tuesday to collect gown!
When we reached, they look at us surprisingly and ask why my friend back again. I told the SA, my friend wish to try on more gowns but she say she not free can't entertain us. Ask us to go back and they will call us again. But we insist to stay and do the fitting. Well the SA then ask ME to get a chair to climb up to get whatever gown my friend wish to try MYSELF!
Well, after afew climbs, Yvonne which is the boss / designer of the shop saw me climbing. She only barely ask the SA. Why is my friend here again???? Of cause if you saw us, meaning we are unhappy with the gown right. But instead Yvonne come and smile to me and say what wrong with my friend and why is she so freckled minded?
I thought I can end my climbing after Yvonne here. However it didn't, she only smile and say. We're really busy today, you may help yourself.
Verdict: They really have lousy services and they really have attitudes. I pity my poor friend that paid $ and suffer their attitude and lousy service in silent!

I wonder what wrong with them, their SA[t.....y] stated they have alot gowns. But now the contract is signed yet they don't deliver the words they promise?

I hv a totally diff experience experience with YC..n i will surely recomend my friends there..my experience with the SA n Yvonne r great.,!! They gave me alot of gowns to fit on my fitting day..n is stated in d policy tat once gown r choosen,cannot b change..tats y i dun tink they r too much by nt letting ur friend try again..mayb is d way both party talk tat created a misunderstanding..

but anyway my wedding is over.. YC actually told me and actually insist to only get my gown on a day before cos they need to let their client use for photo shooting. and since my coordinator is not around anymore they actually insist to let their client use our gown...

Your frenz have the same char as me.. then i think u will really need to console your frenz not to be too nasty with them else you never knw that t...y will mess up your things.

i'm always reading this forum but dont want to comment on anything yet. as my wed also not over yet. it's going to be this sept. i got the photographer for AD from YC as well. after reading Noriko' comment, i feel scared ya, as i also engage VG and i dont want the PG block the view.
personally i haven't had any contact with Fynx, but she seems to be the popular MUA. i got Shu Li for MUA.
My coordinator was Jeanne then change to Cindy as she delivered that time.

Hi,I'm here to this forums. Searching for a wedding photo shoot package now. No wonder so many people here letting go their YC package. I guess one of the reason is their professionalism quality.
Just to share and not against anyone from signing up but I think every penny for every quality "一分钱一分货". Yesterday I was in YC with my SO thinking of signing up packages but decided to walk away when I saw the boss making a sarcastic comments loudly toward a girl trying out gown and I think is Wendy's friend here but I am not sure because she doesn't look angry over the service at all, if she is not your friend, that mean that you are not the only one who wrote YC in the forum. Ofcos, I don't want this to happen to me. The boss commented "给她慢慢å¼ï¼Œè¦ä¸ç„¶åˆè¦åœ¨ç½‘上乱乱写". The poor girl just keep quiet and continue the fitting. I personnaly think that the boss here doesn't show any professionalism toward customer. No matter what criticism you received, you should not take it too personal and angry over it. Somemore this is being said over public where other customers in-store and that's scary. There are two more couples beside me and I am not sure if they walk away too but this is definitely not the way to do business. Hope they change their service quality before it's getting from bad to worst.

Hi, new here. My wedding is in Nov 2011, but I've ROMed already.
I'm not sure if it's due to personal preference but I really like YC. My experience with them is really good.
My coordinator is Fiona, very nice. We went down to try the 1st time thought we chose what we wanted already but later after going home my wife though maybe she want to change so she called Fiona up and she was nice to arrange a 2nd time for us to go down.
They really have lots and lots of gowns and even those gowns that they let for outdoor are of very high quality and beautiful. Somemore, cos they have inhouse seamstress and all (if you go their shop you'll really see the seamstress at the back unlike some shops is get their gowns off City Plaza or from China). My wife was really spoil for choices
Somemore, my wife could not decide between a grey evening gown and a red evening gown. She let my wife take both for our photo shoot. For me, I was only supposed to get 2 suits, but to match with my wife's extra 1 suit, she also gave me an extra suit for photo shoot. Now for our actual day, I actually get to choose 2 from these 3 and my wife gets to choose which of the evening gown she wants!
Then the best is our makeup artist, Fenix (not sure if like that spell) she is superb (and damn funny). I've actually never seen my wife so beautiful but Fenix really did a good job with her (and me!)
My photographer was Simon. We chose him after we saw his portfolio which, I tell you, are really beyond anything we've seen from other boutiques. Unfortunately yesterday when we went down for photo selection, I heard he left the company le due to health problem (he just recovered from Dengue the day before our photoshoot which was in middle of June)
And then there's the lady boss. I don't know, sometimes she like um qio um qio like that, I think maybe will give people wrong impression, but I thought she's nice. Yesterday when we chose our photos, we only got 29 (which was what was given in our package) with no additional. During the selection, the lady boss did come over and encourage us to take more cause the album will really look nicer, but since we were on a tight budget, we hardened our heart and decided to stick with 29. As you know, bridal boutiques business is very competitive. The main package they actually earn very very little. It is the additional photos that you take that they earn most from. So I've heard some boutiques (like a few of my friends who had bad experience with boutiques elsewhere, 1 at Marina Square, 2 of them is along same lane 1, No names to be mentioned) when you select too little they will show you face, say sacarstic things or bang table 1, so I was quite worried when the boss came to take note of what we had selected. Turned out she was very nice and told us don't worry she understand, she'll get her designer to try their best to do whatever they can with the photos!!!
All in all, I personally vouch for them. I think whatever you read here in this forum you need to read it with a pinch of salt. Especially since this is a competitive business and this forum is open to public, so for all you know, the competitors can just log on and create an account to say all sorts of nasty things about them. Somemore they are 1 of the big names, and chinese got this saying, "Big Tree attract wind"...
Afterall, Yvonne Creative has been around for more than 16 years (I think) and everytime I go down to their shop is busting with business. Just walk down that lane and you'll know.
In any case, I think just be nice to the people there I think they should be able to offer you more than you can ask for ;p

All in all, I personally vouch for them. I think whatever you read here in this forum you need to read it with a pinch of salt. Especially since this is a competitive business and this forum is open to public, so for all you know, the competitors can just log on and create an account to say all sorts of nasty things about them. Somemore they are 1 of the big names, and chinese got this saying, "Big Tree attract wind"...
Afterall, Yvonne Creative has been around for more than 16 years (I think) and everytime I go down to their shop is busting with business. Just walk down that lane and you'll know.
In any case, I think just be nice to the people there I think they should be able to offer you more than you can ask for ;p

I've signed up a package with YC because i feel the staff are helpful & approachable. They are transparent in their package, flexible & willingly to give you what you need. Not too pushy & very willing to listen, clarify & accomodate.
I am looking forward to meeting the team that i will be working with again nearing to my PS date to choose my gown.
My wedding will be in June 2012, so I am planning to take my PS in mid Jan.
So should i start going to choose my gowns for PS in mid Nov?

Me too signed with YC 1+yrs bk..my AD in dec this yr..v v gd service frm them..v nice lady boss too..she's nt at all pushy..love their bling bling gown alot..got a real nice princessy bling bling WG n MTM a red 'east meet west' type cheong sam.i juz fall in love with d v 1 st piece of WG i tried on..Yet to see my MTM EG..bt ive faith in them..will get to see my MTM EG in oct..im eagerly waiting..

I already have an idea of what dress I want but I guess I should try the styles first just in case I don't look nice.
Lastly, is there any recommended time I should make my first appointment with YC? I have a MTM WG so not sure if I should start in Jan 2012 or earlier?

So far everything's smooth and good with YC, although my MUA quit after my PS and I had to change to another mua, minnie for AD. Any feeback on her?
My coordinator is Denise, she's sweet and fabulous! Always helpful and patient. i highly reccomend her!

I don't know whether I am consider unlucky or lucky, but I just signed a package from YC. I went to view their website and only see ball gowns and evening gowns that are not my taste. I like to ask any of the brides to be or been, see their gowns varieties? Is it really limited, old designs, as I think they are?
I prefer other bridal studio, but my partner want less hassle and just pick this bridal studio after just a brief talk with them.

Hi CQ, since you have already signed the package with them, dont worry too much.
When you go for your gown selection, they will ask what is your preference, and pick something close to your liking.
I think they have lots to select from, or maybe you can request if you can do your own selection off the rack?
Unless, you tried and really dont like then maybe you can ask your partner to change another BS.

I think what you can compare is how many pieces of gown you have if you sign with other BS.
and the number of photos you have in your package rather then the gowns.
Or maybe, if you browse through any magazine, you can show it to them if they have similar design?
