Single Mom?

Hi, i'm a single mommy to 2 kiddos.

Been a widow with my daughter, and now seperated from my son's dad.. Its a pretty tough & challenging life for me now. But i'm enjoying my every moment with the kids..

Just wondering... is there anyone out there, single mommy? We could kinda form a group =)

nope... twice is more than enough for me!! i think i m rather satisfied with my life now.. and having my 2 children with me, is all i ask for.. ^^

we are great..

my mum used to take care of my girl for me, i give her $600 per month.. now she is in childcare..

my life consist of my kiddos ONLY..

Its only out to work and back to taking care of them, no longer gg out with friends or out doing anything w/o them...

But this was surprisingly enjoying for me ^^
think being single mum makes me grow up a lot & mature a lot... i feel i m much more responsible than before =)

Single mummys, its really amazing how you gals can cope. Do you feel lonely at times and would like someone to be there with you? Or have you gotten past all that now?

I guess loneliness does creep up once in a while, but that really is on an extremely irregular basis!

Basically work & caring for the kids already zap up all your time & energy! I appreciate the little time i left in the night (after the kids are off to bed) for a good read before my own bedtime! =P

when i was single, i don't feel lonely at all.. my daughter fills up all the space in my mind and heart.. i'm just contented with her alone.. and with my family members too..

Sorry ladies for me gate crashing cant help reading and responding to the thread.

First and foremost I salute you all monthers and single mom or not. I suddenly remember my mom I miss her hope one of these days i could fly back home and give her a huge hug. I have my family now and only now I am seeing the harsdhip a mother endure for her kids... I have 3 kids and among the 3 kids I only saw/witness my wife gave birth to the last kid, the 1st two i was on overseas assignment so i never saw them until like 4-5 months old. The last one was special I was with my wife and I saw how she labored and give birth.... I wanted to faint I cant believe how she could endure the pain. Since then I look at my wife differently I love her more and take care of her more. Same goes for my mom also.

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you and your two kiddos will be alright. I have friend who's also single and has been raising her 2 daughters alone. So I know you're in a though road. I hope all is well.
