Aiya..I was suppose to meet him next fri @7.30 hehee.... but he postphone my appt to the following monday instead...if not I would have got to see you hehee...
 
He normally opens at 11am, girls. Although the first time I had a morning appt 10.30am - he was late and arrived 11+. You can call him if he is not there that early in the morning. He is very sincere though.

my AD this coming May, will be using Ivy as my makeup artist, anybody can share experience with me pls? Is Ivy creative? apart from being fast, is she really good at makeup & hairstyles?

I am still thinking abt the makeup & hairstyle for my AD? anybody can share with me some advice?

The last time I had my photoshoot, cant see my makeup in my pictures
 
hi faith, did Ivy do your makeup for photoshoot also? What do you mean by cannot see your makeup in the photos - it's like you are not wearing makeup???? I have also booked Ivy, let me know your experience with her so far ok? Thanks.

Hi EA, silverlining has many different packages for brides with different needs. I will pm you mine, but I think that his packages have since be revised so the price probably different already. Best if you call and visit Silverlining and find out there.

chocolate cowgirl & okiedockie, i m also concern as my AD is approaching nearer....i m using Ivy as my MUA. I cant see any colors except for lipstick, cos she uses Pink on me lah....maybe thay's why it so light...any recomendations for latest hairdo, coloring services?

any of you girls intend to keep the eveing gowns? Notice that jit's package does not include tea dress already, if want must add $150 more..
 
Hi faith, I'm wondering if it will help if we told Ivy that we wanted stronger colours esp for the dinner? I haven't met her yet cos my 2nd fitting is not for a few more months. I actually wanted Eric, but he is not available on my AD and so Jit strongly recommended Ivy.

Makeup is overall. As long as she brings out the good features & enhance the not so good ones are good enuf. Unless u want the dramatic type of make-up. Ivy's make-up is the more natural type. Ivy did a great job for me. She used silver colour for my eyes & pink for the blusher. Can even see my eye shadow in some pixs. She will put heavier make-up for your AD dinner.

Maybe you can show her photos of bridal magazine of what you want at least Ivy has an idea..
Cos want i know is normally during the PS the makeup should be stronger then AD will be lighter.. better let her know ur concerns..

hi gals..i got my package from SL too, love the entire package..hehee..jit, makeup, flowers, gowns and suit!

So those who are still deciding on the designs..well, little tip; jit specialises in low-cut back lines and light feel flowy organza style..

I used Ivy for my makeup too..really natural, elegant finishing.
 
Hi choc_cowgirl, has Ivy given u the trial session? Wad I did the last time was, I took a few styles from various magazines and discussed it with Ivy...

She knows what sort of colours are best under wad lighting (outdoor/indoor/photoshot) etc. I jus told her my perference and we tried to work ard the gowns colours.

hi chloef, haven't had the trial session with Ivy yet as it will be scheduled together with my second fitting. i think I will do what you suggested, show her what I like from the magazines. Was your makeup discernible from your photos? I'm afraid the makeup will just look like normal day to day going to work type of makeup.
 
pink_lady, I don't know about the other silverlining brides, but I haven't heard of her...don't think jit mentioned her name before.

think we r only entitle to 1 x hairstyle n makeup for the dinner, anybody have any idea if its chargeable if we get them to stay back a while to change our hairstyle for the evening gown? i m using Ivy...and i m also looking for MUA for my mum and mil, lvy quoted me $100, is that reasonable?

I engaged another MUA for my mum & MIL. She charged $80 per pax for MUA & hairdo. She is good too. If u want, I can pass u her contact.

had just collected my photo album from chris ling, finally saw my makeup...i mean colors...
your last post is correct, shading is a very important part of makeup and thumbs up for Ivy...
hope she do a great job for my actual day :D
 
Hi, can someone please please sned me the package price for Silverlining? I'm really keen on signing up with Jit but I forgot what the price of his OTR and MTM packages are! I'm sucha blur block! Tried his gown and loved it so much that I forgot all about the pricing!

Anyone care to share their beautiful gowns too?
