Suisui, forgot to mention that $3288 is OTR (w/o photography) but includes car rental. I think for OTR w/o photography and car rental is $2888...then again, its the old price. So best to check with Jit.

I had my 1st fitting with Jit, find that my EG cut was not very flattering to me...do u think he is able to rework the design? or shld i get another pic? help!!! what shld i do best?

Hi Faith

Be honest with Jit abt what you don't like about your gown, what you don't think is flattering and see how he can improve on it to your liking. Jit is a designer with many ideas and he's flexible and he is open to his customer's comments so that in the end, they are happy.

Don't keep quiet but let him know.

At this stage when the EG is done, it may be too late to dramatically change it but am sure Jit has some great ideas to turn it into an outfit you'll be proud to wear!

thanks for the advice....had been in dilemem...
rather upset also...what happen was during the fitting, i find it really nice but after i saw the photos i tot, feels that its looks ''bad'lei...and my mums and family also comment the same thing, that's y i m so upset,

think most important is make sure that i 'shine'in the gown right! once a lifetime only mah!

i think he is having his holiday now, hope to meet him asap to discuss my gown cos my PS in Jan...ohoh

Its not a problem.....My pleasure!

Actually if you said that you liked it when you tried it and then it looked different in photos, perhaps you want to arrange another appointment with Jit to try it on again. Cos there were times when I first tried on my WG and I liked it when I wore it but when I went home to think abt it, I wasn't sure but then at my next apptment, I'll try it again and love it! Sometimes, photos don't do justice to the gowns that we try on.

And if I may say this, don't be affected by comments from family and friends. Most important is what you think. Cos the eventual WG I chose OTR (I had shortlisted 2 initially) was the one that my parents didn't like. They preferred the other, more conservative choice. But I liked the sexier one. Fortunately, HTB agreed with my choice cos he's q conservative and I was worried he'll go with my parents' choice. If he had, I thot I'll psycho him to my choice but then, I didn't have to.

I wish you all the best for all your gowns and that everything will go well for your PS. Most importantly, that you enjoy the experience!

I use Jit to do my ROM dress. It is very nice. FYI, if u r choosing yr Photography, dont choose Utopia. Service is not fantastic, internal staff dont communicate much plus they can understand better in mandarin than english.

Andrew from the edge is better.
Phototeam actual day is fantastic. take a look at their album. Theirs is so different from the rest. Plus they sent 2 photographers to take yr pics. Feel like a super star.

Yup, Jit does team up with Chris Ling photography studio and the photographer is Kelvin. If you want Chris Ling himself, I believe you have to top-up.

As for Sam Ong, I'm not sure. Best to check with Jit.

Yup, I've booked with Grand Hyatt. It was only the 2nd place we went to. The first place was Royal Plaza on Scotts.

Yah, pretty excited actually to start married life, more than anything.....

I like Grand Hyatt cos I worked with them on an office function years ago and felt their service and quality of food was excellent! So I was already quite biased towards them and told FH that I liked Grand Hyatt. We looked at the ballrooms and fortunately, he liked it and we signed up with them. They were only the 2nd hotel we looked at.

Actually I wanted to go to Ritz Couture and Divine Couture but I read so much abt Silverlining and went to see Jit instead. He was actually the last place (only went to 3 other bridal studios previously) I was going to go, and then I wanted to make my decision already with another studio. Very tiring. But when I saw his gowns, I changed my mind about another studio and went for Jit instead. Very happy about the decision!!!

My gown is OTR. I didn't have a dream wedding dress I gotta have. I must admit that my OTR gown now is my dream dress. I love it very much! My fiance who doesn't really have much interest in these couldn't help commenting after our visit to Jit to see the gown I've picked that my gown was the best.

My fren who was previously a SL bride got a OTR WG but her EG is MTM..

I dun like her MUA, neither did she cos she drew the eye liner such tat one of hre eyes looks bigger than the other... luckily it's only obvious when u look closer.. My fren also commented that the MUA always insisted her way..

Vaguely remembered fr this thread someone mentioned Ivy is good rite? I read that if u like the trial make-up, take a pic of it & show it to the MUA on the actual day cos not that they r inprofessional but everyone's memory is ltd so to play safe too.. Dun worry too much.. it will turn out well

Btw, why's the PS 3 days before the wedding? U dun plan to show ur guests the photos at the banquet?
