Recommrndation for Restaurant Banquet 2018

My husband & I are looking for a restaurant banquet next year in October or November.

And I know most couples will start 1 year ahead to plan. The best part is we haven't took our pre-shoot and start any preparations.

I would like to know any recommendation other than Orchird Country Club & Serangoon Country Club.

Anything (such as hidden cost) to look out for?

As of now we have no idea. But a gauge of 30 to 40 tables for next weekend lunch.
As our house will be ready next year, we are hoping to hold maybe at county club or restaurant. Budget wise preferable less than $1k. But i know it's hard to find good food and venue with affordable price.
