I just called up NTUC & spoke to Jean & she said that there will be a steam room in the changing room. I also check with her on the mthly fee & she said it is not out yet.

I know that there is a NTUC childcare at the opposite flats ...that is the nearest (just across the road).

HB and i actually went to Ayuthaya for a day tour on our last days in BKK. First few days was mainly shopping. Bought table lamps, candles, plates, bowls, cloths, shoes, slippers.. etc. I am tempted to go BKK again. Feel like never shop enough.

Kent, I agree there can be many defects. it's important that u guys be careful, and take note of even little defects, since small defects may trigger off big damages in future, e.g. cracks may lead to water leakage problems.

ya..I am a Mrs =P
I do not have any plans to change my boys childcare. Which means to say, I am prepared to fetch them from my mum's place at bedok every nite.

Actually, I had initial thoughts of changing their childcare. But it is a bit rushing for me to fetch the boys and cook up a meal. So we will stay put with current arrangement ie to continue their childcare lessons in bedok and go back my mum place for our meals.

Thus, I have not checked out the childcare centres in Sengkang. Nevertheless, my boys present childcare in bedok had just opened a new branch at Rivervale Drive Blk 145, call Sparkle Stones. If u are looking for nearer centres, check out 'Cutie Kidz Playhouse' at blk 113 Rivervale Walk.

It is definitely a blessing to have your parents to help out with your kids!

Hi Alvin, me & wifey went around the vicinity to check, there's a NTUC childcare at Block 106, juz opposite our apartment. they may have some kinda playgroup arrangement. u might wanna check with them.

also took a pic of the apartment from Block 106. sharing it here with u guys. think the internal parts of the units are all done up, we saw through the windows that the aircon, wardrobe, etc. are all installed. internal paintwork also seems to be completed, now left the exterior part. saw the palm trees and bamboo plants already planted around the swimming pool (or water feature, whatever that is). seems like everything should be ready by end september. or we hope so.

Heard from my friend from lilydale that the maintenance fees which was lowered at the start of the year will be increased (think to 280)... don't understand why EC maintenance fees are much higher than private ones...thou we are paying by units, why is each unit higher than other apartments? Now can only wait and see

I've got this feeling that Park Green sales ppl trying to be conservative, even for things like completion date, and they didn't have steam room in the original facilities list but now they hv, so hopefully they were being conservative about the maintenance fees too?

don't think we should bother to do it. everything has already been planned. they build what we have already agreed to pay for. if they agree to one person's request, a precedent will be set and everyone will wanna request for something.

Agree with drawcy - dont think any amount of cajoling will get the management to add new facilities at this stage.

Frankly, I would be happier if they just lower the monthly maintenence fees rather than burden everyone with high fees and facilities that not everyone ends up wanting!
