Hey, their lotus leaf rice is a must to have. All my friends like that dish... The roast chicken with vinegratte (something like this) hmmm, not nice... So I changed to the chicken we ate on the wedding show case. Other wise most of the dish I choose is good comments from my 8 friends who attend the food tasting with us. Below is my confirmed menu.

1. Combination of Deluxe Appetizers:
(Pacific Clams ‘Thai’ Style, Suckling Pig, Deep-fried Scallop with Yam Paste, Prawn Salad & Sliced Smoked Duck)

2. Braised Shark’s Fin Soup with Crabmeat & Fish Maw

3. Roasted Chicken with Prawn Crackers

4. Steamed Fillet of Sea Perch with Minced Garlic in Superior Soya Sauce

5. Poached Live Prawn with Chinese Wine

6. Braised Sliced Abalone & Fragrant Mushroom with Brown Sauce on Seasonal Greens

7. Fried Rice with Preserved Pork, Conpoy & Diced Mushroom Wrapped in Lotus Leaf

8. Chilled Cream of Mango Sago with Pomelo

Hi Joan,

Thanks for sharing with us.

I met up with my coordinator last Sat and also to view the pink theme. We have also tentatively confirmed on the above dishes as yours except the cold dish some items are different from urs and #3. My mum just attended her fren's daughter banquet at Pan Pacific in Jan, she has praises for the food. Hopefully ours will turn our well.

Shernice: I thought the Pink theme is not too bad, but both HTB and myself would still like to view the BLUE jazz theme before confirming. We are deciding between these two. R u using Pacific room or Ocean room? Congrats btw!

I will be gg to pan pax for my food tasting later this evening, my coordinator is Diana, will see how the food goes. Mine will be at pacific ballroom on 28 may and I finally settle for Eden Harmony, actually red/black is very stylish but I don't think my parent will like it.

Fannieme, I signed up during the wedding showcase. They offered free-flow beer, 100 canepes, 2 night stay at bridal suite, 1 yr anniversary stay, 1 helpers room, 1 bed liner set with couple initials sewn and 1 bottle wine per confirm table. I took up the 989++ package on weekend.

and they dont provide free flow beer anymore, so you seriously got a great deal!
thanks for sharing!

Fannieme, My package inclusive of service charge and GST is $1163. You can look for Linda, try negotiate for free flow beer since you have 50 tables. Good luck!

Hi, just wanna check with you guys is it weird for a banquet without cake cutting session and champagne pouring. Cos i do not wish to have that.

My plan is to have one march in to do my solemnization. After tat it will be buffet style dinner where i wish to have more mingle around session for my guests instead of just sitting at one table for the whole night.

Kindly share your views guys. Thanks

Hi ladies, is it crazy to book one of the Suites in Pan Pac Hotel ($6k per night) to do ROM? The room is great, has a superb view and a small balcony which my HTB was thinking of using it to put the table for ceremony.

Renee & Steven:

I increase tables to 33+2R... Very sad and keep complaining very squeezy at Ocean ballroom etc. Eventually, She apologise that she can't upgrad me as there's a company event held on the same day on my wedding at pacific ballroom.

Just few days before my actual day, Linda called and inform me they can change our venue to pacific ballroom as the company cancalled their event and she told us not to worry as she will assign more staff and put up signboard to lead our guests to pacific ballroom.

I have problems with my CD and montage lucky the AV team manage to solve it.

She's a very thoughtful person, she and her team made our wedding very smooth sailing, no hiccups at all. God blessed!

Joan, you are lucky man! I doubt anyone of us will have such luck to be upgraded from Ocean to Pacific. For my case, both HTB and myself wanted Pacific but was taken up as there will be a wedding dinner the same day too.

Hi all,

Congrats to all that had just wedded. Mine is in about 2 weeks time, 5th June. Getting excited. Haha. And I'm doing a lot of last min things! =.=

So far, I'm really pleased with Pan pac services. We had 2 food testings. Our first was really bad...Chef Lam was on leave and we had quite a lot og complaints about the food. Was getting so worried. We requested to change a lot of food. We told Linda our concern and asked if we could taste the food we wanted to change and we would pay for it even. In the end, Linda called and said we could have the whole 9 course (we had 11 in the end, they let us try the rice and noodles and the 2 desserts as well) again for 10 of us for free! Chef Lam was in-charge the second time and the food was so much better! That really put us as ease.
