45 tables will be hard to manage! best is to keep it small, cosy and comfortable and make sure everyone have a good time.
Thats more important ya. Location is secondary.

Hi everyone i'm new here, starting to look at various places for 2015, heard very mixed reviews of Pan Pac, has anyone had any bad experiences?

Nothing bad about the hotel la, just maybe some rude staff.. and lousy service standards of maybe individual staff... then some say the managers and all very helpful and good service, so i'm not sure.

was hoping someone here could tell me what they personally went through... its always better to have people share their personal experience. ;)

Hi sunshine, what mixed reviews u heard? Mind to share? :)

Hello everyone!
Anyone sales manager is Stephanie Ong?
Most likely I'll be signing up with pan pac for wedding lunch 2014 :)
I have not met her yet but my hub had, but lately her replies of email seemed unprofessional which worries me whether she will be helpful on the actual day...

Hi.. my currently sales manager is Stephanie Ong too. My previously is Jason becos of his prata words that why we change to Stephanie. My htb prefers Stephanie so I'm OK with it. Yeap, her reply seems slow cos she's always either in the meeting or busy. So usually we msg her.

When is your wedding? Mine also wedding lunch. :)

Hi Everyone
I have went down to Pan Pacific without an appointment and surprisingly to me and my WTB, the wedding planner - Stephanie came to meet us, she seems to be a pleasant lady and humorous (witty and not go-by-the-book kind) and we both liked her as we are able to 'click'; she will randomly check with me and my WTB if we have further queries and if we understand the packages...also informed us that that most Saturday dates for dinner in Nov & Dec 2014 is almost taken up and we might look into Saturdays in Jan / Feb 2015.

Anyone can share if you have confirmed your wedding in 2015 and if the rates can apply the same as 2014, what other perks can I ask from the co-ordinator...my email: [email protected]

Thanks Lots!!!

Any latest reviews and feedback for Pan Pacific Singapore? What are the additional perks we can negotiate for on top of what's already included in their package?

Are there other sales besides Jason and Stephanie?
I had a hard time contacting Pan Pac sales coordinator or manager. No one pick up the calls.

Stephanie is like always so busy, so difficult to arrange an appt with her for discussion. Kept asking me to view the ballroom first which I already did.
My partner ask me to give up and seek other venue.

Hi shine15,

Mine at 1st is Jason but in the end he never performed well so we change to Stephanie. Ya, she always busy either meeting n etc. But recently, I send email or sms to her, she got reply me. :)

Maybe she needs time to reply. :)

seriously i dont like her attitude in email reply. it's like take it or leave it. i'm very busy.
pan pac is one of the first 2 hotel i viewed, and it's one of the last hotel i'm unable to fix an appointment.

out of courtesy, she should give me a few timing or ask what's my availability. but when I ask her for weekend appt, her reply was "it's either -this day this time- or next following week." 2 weeks to fix 1 appt? i think it's too much.

Wow seh. Why like that? I think pan pac still got other coordinator but just don't know what names? Also don't know good or not. What happen to jason? He never reply your email or answering your calls too? When is your wedding? :)

I wanted to meet up with Jason last month to see the ballrooms... but he told me that he is leaving... i guess that is the reason why his DID and mobile is off.. Nonetheless, he introduce us to stephanie...

From the way she replied our email and spoke to us... i can sense that she treat us the way we treat her... my fiancee kind of reply in a impolite way(wont say anything here if not she wont marry me anymore), and stephanie replied in a straight to the point way as well. At first, we thought she is the difficult kind.. But when we meet up with her, she was very friendly and helpful... so i guess both plays a part...

Both me and fiancee has been sourcing around hotels for 2015... and most hotel coordinators have been pushing their appointments to one or 2 weeks later.. i guess its because of the peak period of wedding now.... we have check with 2 of our friends who have their wedding in Pan Pacific the past year and both mentioned that the response was very fast and prompt.. so i guess it is more on the timing bah....

I have recently signed up with Stephanie - our wedding coordinator for my wedding dinner in March 2015 after much consideration when we have our first meet up with her in July. Initially, we wanted to host our banquet in Jan / Feb 2015 but it's too close to the festivities and decided on 21 March 2015 instead. I have tried to schedule our second appointment via email with Stephanie twice but she is not available. And I tried to schedule 2 weeks ahead and apparently she is available to meet. Overall experience with her was pleasant and she is a very friendly person, and knowing that two of her colleagues have just left recently, she has to double her responsibility in the handover files and probably why she is always engaged or her schedule is full especially its the wedding peak month. I think the timing plays an important part and most couples wanted to schedule their meet up on weekends I suppose. I hope that everything goes well from here...

hi amanda,

i gave up and book Sheraton.
I understand it's not entirely her fault or she's not responsive but it would be very inconvenience if such situation happen nearing the actual day.
Actually it's Sheraton flexibility in reducing the min table for main ballroom that I've to make decision within a week. Thus I didnt have the luxury to wait for PanPac.

hi amanda, thanks!
hi shine15, hope your wedding planning is a smooth one!

Overall, I think the most important part for the selecting the venue is the chemistry between the sales rep and the couple; most hotels that I went to recee is either the sales rep gave me the 'take-it-or-leave-it' kind of attitude or 'faky' kind which I don't feel good with them.

One of the most important factor will still be the person who is assisting you to plan the entire process as she will be the main contact person till your actual day and the food, as most of the guests who has attended will sing praises to my old folks if the food is good.

Hi Sam!
I recently met with the Sales Manager Stephanie Ong. She seems very nice. We might be signing with her next week for our wedding in 2015. Do you mind sharing the additional perks you managed to get when signing the contract?
Thanks in advance

Hi Dorami 88
Agreed, she is a nice lady and knowledgeable too. She will explain those chinese customs which seems to be out of her context too! I did not asked alot of additional when I signed up with her cos think the packages is quite reasonable and comprehensive compared to those around Marina area; just 2 nights' stay at Suite room and a day use for the helpers. I did asked to arrange a private room for solemnisation before my dinner which is complimentary...
Hope this helps...
