My coordinator is Xueling.. Very prompt with reply, but quite strict in perks. Think i saw ur email requesting on my package details. Mine is just a wedding lunch package. Didn't get much except for the usual perks. The promotion i sign up entitle me to free flow of beer and wine for 3 hours. More wedding cards/ car park coupons. Got a function room for tea ceremony after my lunch.

*My company DND will be at Orchard Hotel, but that will be on 15 Oct. Its after the wedding show.

Hi ladies, new in forum...

Was considering Orchard Hotel but ballrm 1&2 need min 40 tables. If take ballrm 3 only it looks a tad small as its abt 25-32tables.

I like OH but this min tables thingy is giving me a headache as Im looking at about 30 tables. Boo...

The 5th sept wedding show has a few perks.
If you keen with OH u might want to go and take a look first as any confirmation booking PRIOR to 5th sep u get another room stay for ye helpers.

Promo:
-Complimentary table for every 10 guaranteed (super attractive)
-Free flow beer 3 hrs
-Complimentary 6 bottles of wine for every 10 guaranteed

oh.. haze no longer around ah? luckily mine is xueling, not affected. Btw, xueling change name to xuanling is it?

hehehe...my AD coming in 2 mths time. I have just custom made my wedding gown to be in line with the pink dazzling theme. Was wondering whether it will blend into my pink table cloth. Photo for sharing..

Hi hi, I think Haze is around but her portfolio has changed. I enquired about some stuff but have yet to hear from the person who took over..so not sure how he's like..

Xingli: hehe.. thanks for the compliment! Custom made the gown online at $370 and it comes with free veil, can can and gloves as a set..not sold separately. hehe..

The other time, i email xueling.. then i realise the name change?

avatar: Have communicated with the coordiantros via email so not sure if the new coordinator is a guy actually..hehe..but i think for the upcoming wedding show OH is giving quite good perks (think overall package better than previous show) so i asked if some flexibility can be extended to us as well..

think most hotel has better deals for lunch compared to dinner if im not wrong...

Dear all, i'm new here.. my AD is 20 Feb 2011 i'm with OH too.. oh just read thru the posts, u guys means Haze is no longer in charge of wedding? I'm also under her.. OMG.. so who is taking over now? anyone know?

hi all, i have a qns to ask...
GDL is held how long before AD?

my FS master gave me a date for GDL which is slightly more than a mth before my AD but my mum insists that it is too early. She wants the GDL 1-2 weeks before my AD & the invitations to be sent together with the GDL cakes... but wun it be too rushed if i give out the invitations to my relatives 2 weeks before my AD?

Pls advise! thks!
 
rina: my bf's sister also had her GDL one week b4 her AD. but she sent the invites out i think 2 weeks b4hand if i rmb correctly.

My fengshui master also gave me a date which is 1 mth before my wedding. My AD on 23 Oct & my GDL is on 18 Sept (this coming sat). I find this arrangement more comfortable as I can get rid of another item first. Delivering cakes/ writing invitation cards/ confirming attendance/do table arrangement can be a chore.

Hi Avatar: ya I thot 1 mth before shld be just nice & somemore it's a Sat. But my mum said GDL before CNY very troublesome etc etc and she kept saying so early wait my relatives forget... My other 2 GDL dates are on the 14th day of CNY which is 16th Feb or 1st Mar which is like 4 days before my AD. and these both days are weekdays.. I think more troublesome ah! But she keeps insisting that 30th Jan is too early.. Sigh...
 
Actually if worried pple forget, just send them a reminder sms a few days before the wedding? hehehe...If not, u take 16 Feb? 1st march is abit too rush for you?

Xingli: No problem. will update all of you on my food tasting later on. hehehe... Need to follow up on some logistic issues. luckily my GDL over.. table listing also done.

Other than that, just fix appt with hair salon/ manicure shop/dental appt/facial appt etc. hehe..

my friend suggested to me to do gel nail extension as its better than acrylic but not sure where has the gel thingy...

Cuz my 1st ps my nail i give people do gel ext for $300!! I dont wanna spend that money again for 2nd ps so i do my own lor

i will still go to the manicurist for nail extension as im not that creative to deco myself haha
