Every shop bound to have negative comments. Don't take it too seriously.

Hope you gals have a wonderful experience over there. =)

@Orange: 1 pose is $80. If only in soft copy, is $50.

as for outstanding MUA or PG, I think is up to individual. But then common popular ones will be David, Jackson. As for MUA, popular one is Mico.

my wedding was in nov 12. here is my honest opinion about this studio for reference to future brides... i hope this will be useful.

well, on the whole, hubby and my experience with mdw is soso. there is nothing to rave about if u r talking about service. so if u r looking for service and caring helps for wedding, this will not be the place for u. a number of small things that are easily overlooked and are expected to be taken care of by bridal studio, will not be provided and turned down upon request as well, unless u are willing to fork out extra $$ (out of your package). things like AD accessories, prewed photo props, etc. are on additional $$.

photos viewing wise, quite hardsell. there is discount if u get more photos but not as much if u compare with outside or even overseas. choosing photos can be a pretty stress experience there. we didnt really enjoy the photo selection bit where rachel helped us with.

as for the gowns, before i signed up with them, i been to two bridal shows and i was pretty amazed at their gowns. but come to me really choosing their gowns, i had difficulty. those prettier gowns need may belong to VIP range etc, u need to top up $. BUT in the end, i was still able to choose sth i like and close to my ideal. i had to give credits to gown coord - Candy. she is v patient and i find that she understands what brides need and are looking for. maybe she was also a recent bride. in anycase, overall pretty good experience with her in gown selection. in fact, i find xiaoAi is not bad too although i had no fate with her.

as for makeup, i had no biggy problem with them. i will recommend Sasha, she is pretty good and patient. she is punctual, sweet and patient. i m satisfed with her makeup skills.

for photoshoot, it was really an enjoyable time with them. i think of all the times dealing with them, photoshoot seems to be the only occasion hubby and i enjoyed. seriously. hahaha. my PG is Jackson, assistant is Irene, MUA is Sasha. although Irene is female, she tried her best to help carry the things ard and assist the PG though the time of my photoshoot i find her not v experienced in flipping the dress yet for camera effect. but i ve nth to complain about her and in fact i thought she is pretty helpful and fun to have ard in making the entire photoshoot enjoyable. as for Jackson, he is totally fun to be with for photoshoot. try to go for him if u can, is really an enjoyable experience. photos wise, they may not turn out to be the best, but the experience of the photoshoot was sth hubby and i will never forget.

pretty mixed in my reviews, bits of negative and some positive. u take your pick brides, good luck! happy new year!

for the price they are charging and all the hidden cost for props, early charges, limited MUA to suit ur AD, top up for dresses, top up for photos and better finishing for album .. can easily get ala carte package + good photographer, or better service. their photo skills suxs. all tt few poses. like mass production.
i regret going with them.

Hi, I am back again to share more about MDW. However this time round it's not a pleasant experience.

First encounter/sign up

actual photoshoot
amyiee: Day 578 Pre wedding shoot

Other than during the first meet up when I find the sales staff really not genuine. He was full of like "we focus on customer service yada yada..." However subsequently when I see him in the bridal he was totally like another person. With a stern face not even a smile or hi. Today I am not using this chance to post about him but on one sad incident.

My wedding date was on the 8th June 2013. However, my father had an accident and passed away at end of January. Due to chinese customs from the elders, they say we have to push forward the wedding to within the 100 days. I was in mourning and totally no mood to settle any wedding stuffs at all. My bf called up MDW to inform them.

I received a call shortly from MDW within that week that my father passed away. Initially I thought they called perhaps to send their condolences or whatever. Instead, the staff called to inform me that in order for them to get ready the album, I now need to pay them additional $300 for them to do so. I mean, you call a mourning person just to tell them that?? I was really angry and told her, if you need $300 just so you can do that, forget it. Take your time. And please call my bf for any arrangements.

I understand that its their practices to call brides but in this circumstances shouldnt you be sensitive enough??? Even after telling them that, they are still calling me constantly....when I had make known not to call me during this period.

Subsequently, they said even with the $300 they are unable to rush the album out. WHY NOT you top up $200 to get your photo frames first? Come on. I paid for the packages and now I have to pay extra to get them? I find it ridiculous. I didn't want my wedding to be brought forward as well. My bf also chided them that there are certain money that you just shouldn't earn. Seriously, among 10 couples, how many will have this happen to them in your bridal???

Anyway I have already informed my guest that there won't be any wedding albums.

THen next, I want to warn/highlight/inform you BTBs to be careful when you are signing anything. My package includes 2 bridal make up on the AD. During the first meet up, we told the staff we just need one and he noted it and edited on the sales receipt. Out of trust we signed on it. And now because of the request from future MIL, we checked if my MUA can do one more make up for me on the AD and the answer was no cause they had to follow the sales receipt.

So NOW, I paid for two bridal make up, but I can only have one.

The reason we mention to you was so we thought we had to tell you so you can make arrangement. It's not like you take ONE bridal make up and exchange it with something else for us. DOn't it make sense, if you tell me I have 2 bridal make up. I tell you I just need you to help me do one. But IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES if I have to take TWO, I should be able to cause I paid for it all.

Not sure if I can bring it to the tribunal claims as we had already signed on the receipt.

Whatever it is, I will see what I can do after the wedding as it is just one month away. For now, I just hope BTB will be careful when signing up packages.

Customer Service is not how you SAY it. It's how you deliver it when things happen.
But for MY DREAM (or not) WEDDING, this is how you handle things and tell me it's customer service.

I am truly disappointed. To think I had even "promote" to all my friends telling them about your gowns and photoshoots and all. Guess I was wrong..

I have read through some of the posts and noted that there are quite a lot of hidden costs!
Can anyone share with me what other hidden costs there are for example, need top up $ for VIP gowns, renting of accessories, price quoted excludes GST...
I was looking at my friends' photos and felt MDW photo taking skills was good and the gowns nice too...but would like to hear more opinions on the pricing, is it considered steep?

signed up with them during last week's roadshow...they were upfront with their "hidden costs" and our shoot's scheduled in august so let's hope all goes well!

Hi missus_wong, can you send me your package with MDW?
I've shortlisted them for my AD next year! So eager to go check them out but am afraid with the 'hidden costs'.

Have you gone down to the boutique to check out the dresses?
