hi Master Tong, is 09 Jan 2010 an inauspicious day for ROM for Bride monkey and Groom horse, I was told generally this date is not good and was advised to chose another date
 


fellow brides and grooms to be, instead of checking generic dates which is not accurate (as Bazi has not been taken into consideration yet), why not engage Master Tong for a precise date selection. =)

though i do know for my animal sign, Rabbit clashes with me though.

you can choose to either email Master Tong or sms him... I first contacted him through sms.. Subsequent correspondence were through email. He is very prompt in his replies and detailed as well.. After which, I met up with him some where near to where I am staying for the report and findings.. =)

Usually he will need a week to get back to you as his schedule is arranged as such. Hope it helps.. His charges are very reasonable, not to mention good services rendered..
 
last point to note, the timings are very important too, which Master Tong will only be able to calculate using your Bazi, along with the exact date...

rem, a good date in Tong Shu might not necessary be a good date for you.

According to chinese belief, 3 months before and after your wedding, you cannot attend other's wedding, funeral/wakes and child birth.

Whoever that goes to the other party's wedding, his/her luck will be clashed. this is a Chinese superstition, not Feng Shui or Chinese Metaphysics, hence it is really up to you if you want to practice it or not.

If you ask me, i will ask you to follow it since wedding is such an important event and i believe if she is your good friend, she should understand since both of you are getting married

Here are some datea you can use :

- 23/10, 13/11.

Only 2 weekend dates available coz the rest of the general good dates all clashes to your or your parents.

Note that this is a general good day only. Bazi is not taken into consideration yet.

13th Nov clashes to Rooster, hence cannot be used.

For sun here are some general dates you can use:

- 12/9, 14/11, 26/12

Can you elaborate more about what you mean by Bazi clashes? Are you referring to clashes of the zodiac signs? If you are, this is not true, This is a very superficial form of Bazi Analysis and is done by amateurs only

9th Jan 2010 is a very very bad day for wedding and any important activities.It is a "Po" day, plus a month breaker and year breaker day (meaning the day clash with the month, and the month clash with the year..hence very bad). Avoid if possible.

The bazi clash that i heard of is the clash between the couple's elements like wood and fire? I am not sure if it's the same as that of the zodiac.

That is a different thing. That is more towards Bazi Destiny analysis side. And no, clashes in this apsect does not mean divorce. There are much much more to the analysis of a couple's marriage than just these clashes alone, so not to worry

Do we need an auspicious needed for Guo Da Li? Our auspicious date is 11 Jan 10 (Mon) for this but my MIL wanted to have at 10 Jan 10 which is a Sun for convenient purpose.

Also to check the reason of getting auspicious date for Guo Da Li?

just some generic qns.. I was planning my ROM in 2010 cos seems that its a gd yr for both of us or we were thinking abt yr 2011.Not sure wic yr is good.

And we are not having any customary dinner at any hotel cos my parents dun mind not holding it so we were thinking abt jus ROM and have a buffet dinner/lunch on the same day with frens and relatives. So the qns is it bad for us if we dun hold any customary activities since its a custom ??

Groom : Rooster (Mar 1981)
Groom's Dad : Dog
Groom's Mum : Pig

Bride : Ox (Aug 1985)

Yes you need a date for Guo Da Li. Reason coz it is a part of a wedding related event (hence it has to be a good day) and also you want that do to proceed smoothly without hiccups.

11th Jan will be a better day for Guo Da Li. 10th Jan weekend is not a good date for it.

Remember that after ROM, your are already husband and wife, already considered married

2011 is not a good yr for you and 2011 Rabbit year will clash with Rooster, which is the groom. Hence 2010 will be a better choice

I'm holding my customary and wedding dinner on 07 July 2010.

I was told that it is not a good day to get marry. Is that truth? Is there any thing, I should take note (like timing) coz it is unlikely for me to change the date.

Yes that is correct. It is a not so good day for wedding. But not the worst.

If you can't change the date, the next best thing to do will be to choose a good timing for ROM on that day and your fetch the bride.

What is your current timing?

Both year does not to clash to any of you, hence either yr can be used so long as you choose a good day for it.

However, if you want to narrow down which is a better year, the only way to do that will be to check your Bazi.

Hi Zessica,

These information alone cannot tell if the feng shui of your salon is good or not. We have to go down onsite to check to determine that. For retails shops, the landform outside your shop is very important. Sometimes, you may wonder why 2 shops facing the same Northeast direction, and next to each other, but one is good and the other is bad. Coz the landform and flow of Qi is affecting the shops differently.

And we also have to see which direction and which sector your salon door opens. And of course the internal flow of your salon also counts.

Even the opening date is important. But this date cannot be just selected from the tong shu. I know from the tong shu, this is a good date for opening of business. But in real date selection, it is not enough. We have to match the selected to your Bazi and also to the house's Feng Shui. Only by matching these 3 factors can we derive a real good date that works.

Hence as you can see, your info is insufficient to determine if you salon is good or bad feng shui

Lisssy, David tong will need to know both you and your gtb bazi in order to calculate... however, that can't be done for free...

else it will be unfair to his clients... the calculation of exact date and time is chargable... it is done through bazi..

Hi Master Tong,

Would like to check with u, is a house facing south consider good in general, as compared to north facing. Heard people said that facing north is better than facing south.

Also, is a good house related to the owner bazi, is it necessary to match bazi before hunting for a house.
