I would like to ask you for some good dates for my ROM and chinese wedding in June/Sept/Nov/Dec 2013. Here are the information:

Bride 31/12/87 (rabbit)
Groom 18/02/83 (pig)

Bride's mother 11/11/63 (tiger)
Bride's father 14/03/62 (cow)

Groom's mother 07/09/54 (horse)
Groom's father 09/03/54 (horse)

The tong shu for 2013 is not out yet and i can only check after it is out (after 7th lunar mth). Right now only way is use bazi to calculate the dates, whcih is the right way

Anyway,groom is born in Pig yr, and 2013 snake yr clashes with Pig, hence a bad yr for wedding. U might have to look at 2014 instead

If our ROM just involve signing papers in the office (no wedding gown, no wedding bouquet, etc), can we still attend friend's wedding 3 months before the ROM?

That is a general good date and doesn't clash anyone.

Note that both your bazi are not taken into consideration yet. A good date in the tong Shu can still be deemed inauspicious if the date and bazi are not compatible

The tong Shu for 2013 is not out yet and will be out sometimes probably next month.hence if you only looking at general dates, will have to wait till next month. Right now only way is use bazi to select and not sure if you know, most of the popular hotels are already full for the good dates as we are already doing 2013 dates since one year ago and now doing 2014 dates already

By the way both of you are born in pig yr, hence 2013 snake will clash to pig, bad year for wedding for both of you

Previously I enquired about a wedding date and thank you very much for your reply.

However, my HTB's parents asked another master to calculate another date based on our birthdates and our parents' birthdates.

This date, however, seems to state that it's not good for marriage on several websites, even though some said it's good.

What will happen if I get married on an unaspicious date? What can I do to avoid bad luck if I'm not changing the date?

The tong shu for 2013 just came out.

Yes it may happen and that is normal. So long as the master calculate the dates based on both your bazi, it does not necessarily have to be a tong shu good date as a tong shu good date is a general date only, not as accurate as calculated using both your bazi.

Just make sure at the very least, it doesnt clash to the couple (both of u) and your parents and it is not a Po Ri (those super bad day). Otherwise, so long as you trust the master to do the right thing, have fun preparing for your wedding

The tong shu for 2013 just came out. It is available at most stores that sell those praying stuffs for temples (some stores may not have it yet as i got it in advance..). After a while, popular bookstore may also have it (usually few mths later).

I would like to enquire about my ROM date. We intend to ROM on 4th Feb 2013 and not sure if it's a good date. Please advise.

Also, we want our Actual Day Wedding to be either November or December 2013. Kindly advise any good dates that fall on Saturdays.

As you can see, we are both snake, our mothers are both tiger and our fathers are both ox. What a coincidence!

Note that those are in the CNY 15 days period hence usually we dont get married during this period too

2013 is better as 2014 Horse yr clashes to Rat (bride).

What you heard of 無春年/ 寡婦年/ 盲年 is pure superstition. If everyone gets married that yr will divorce or no kids, then yes it is true. But we all know it does not happen and many are still happily married and plenty of children. Whether the year good or bad depends on your bazi and zodiac, not simply a 盲年!!!
