We would like to seek advise on a suitable date for wedding in the 2nd half of 2013, preferably Saturday.

Groom: 24 Nov 1983
Bride: 30 Jul 1986

Groom dad: Dog
Groom mum: Rabbit

Bride dad: Dog
Bride mum: Dog

That day clashes to Rat, which is none of you. However, will have to wait for tong shu to come out to check if it is a general good date or not.

the tong shu for 2013 will only be out in Aug this year, hence if you looking at only general good dates, we can only check after that. Right now the only way is using bazi to select.

usually by time tong shu is out, most weekend for hotel will be more or less packed (now is already pretty packed for most popular hotels).

Groom is born in Pig yr, hence 2013 Snake yr clashes to Pig, it is a bad yr for wedding for him.

The 2013 tong shu will only be out in Aug this yr, so if you decide to proceed with 2013 dates, we can only check after Aug. Now the only way is to use Bazi to select.

We would like to seek your advice for auspicious dates for our customary and ROM. We are planning to do both on the same day next year. We have no preference on weekdays or weekends but preferred to have it from May 2013 onwards.

Here is our details:

Groom: 18 Sep 1982 (Dog)
Bride: 18 Nov 1982 (Dog)

Groom's Dad: 1955 (Goat)
Groom's Mum: 1954 (Horse)

Bride's Dad: 1948 (Rat)
Bride's Mum: 1952 (Dragon)

We have selected some dates according to some website which states the auspicious wedding in 2013 and have short list the following:
26 May 2013
22 June 2013
23 June 2013
7 July 2013

However I read from your answer that snake year is not suitable for people born in the year of pig. What will be the impact if we get married next year?

Are the dates we have short listed good for us or is there a good date for us that could ease or reduce the unsuitable of getting married next year? Thanks!

bride : born in year of dragon, 1976
groom :, born in year of pig, 1971

parent of groom : both pig
parent of bride : nil.

How do I give you the bazi to calculate a date for me in the year 2013??? I read above Aug than tongshu is out for general date. However can calculate by bazi now. How do I get about doing so?? Please advice

Yes those born snake yr are not suitable to get married in Pig yr as it clashes. Impact depends on the individual bazi. If the marriage in a bazi is not good, this may aggravate it.

All the dates you listed don't clash to any of you or parents. But will have to wait till tong shu is out to see if it is a general good date or not. But if you must get married in 2013 (no choice..), then best is to choose a date using bazi than tong shu and tong shu is a generic date only.

Only 19/7 doesnt clash to anyone. But have to wait tong shu is out to check if is ia general good date or not. Right now can only check using Bazi.

When you said the zodiac clashes with that year's zodiac, does it mean there should not be ROM, Chinese ceremony and wedding?

To begin with I am Tiger while my boyfriend is Pig, which generally next year(Snake) is not a good year for him to get married.

However, looks like we have to do so hence in this case, do we forgo waiting for the tongshu to be out in Aug and just go ahead with the bazi selection to find out the dates? Please advise, thanks

Yes, but still , that is not a good yr for wedding. If there is no choice, we can only choose the better dates in the year to do it (but not perfect). U can email me for more info on the bazi dates selection.

Bazi. U can check back my previous threads as i believe there are lots of discussions on it.

Tong shu is just a general date for mass consumption. Bazi is "tailored made" and specific to both of you only. U can take it like a MTM vs Off the Rack gown

My Bday is 26 July 1983 n my fiancé is 2 Sep 1982, is 29 Dec 2012 a good wedding day for us? Also, if I choose 29 Dec12, can I attend my good fren's wedding on 22 Sep 12? It's more than 3 mths fr my wedding (assuming 93days for 3 mths) but less than 100 days. Also, is this belief only applicable to bride or to groom as well? Because a few of my fiance's good buddies are getting married in Oct n Nov 2012.

29th is not a general tong shu good date. if it clashes to Horse (eg parents zodiac), then that day cannot be used.

Anyway, your gf is born Dog yr, hence 2012 Dragon clashes to Dog, not a gd yr for wedding too.

So long as within 100 days before and after your wedding, you cannot attend any other people's wedding. Applicable both groom and bride side, no workard solution
