that day clash to Dragon, which is none of you. But will have to wait till the tong shu is out in Aug to check if it is a general good date or not. Right now, the only way to calculate will be using both your bazi.
Yes that is correct. Ideally 2012 or 2014 since both of you are born Pig yr. The 2013 tong shu dates are not out yet. Will only be out in Aug this yr. Now, the only way is use bazi to calculate, which is the right mtd. By time tong shu is out, most hotels' weekends for 2013 dates are long gone!
Hi Master Tong,
May I know how much does it cost to do a bazi calculation for wedding dates in 2013? And can I specify a month (eg March) or weekends dates that I want it to fall under? Or is it fixed and depend on the calculation only? (Meaning the calculation leads to only one specific date per year?)
My Parents: Both Snake
His Mom: Dragon
His Dad: Rabbit
Is this a good date for us?
We are also considering a wedding in Mar 2013 because we were unable to get a hotel we like. I understand that this year is not a good year for Dog to get married, however I just read in your forum that next year (Snake) is not a good year for me (Pig) to get married, what should I do? Should I get married in Dragon or Snake year?
For 2013 dates, it will be $120. U can drop me an email at [email protected] and i will revert with more info.
Both dates are not general tong shu good dates. And yes, this yr is not good for Dog to get married and next yr not good for Pig. Hence best will be 2014 if possible
If no choice, then just have to select the best date in that year to do it. And have to check bazi to see which yr is slightly better, BUT most 2012 weekend dates are sold out for most hotels. U may have to consider lunch or weekdays for 2012 dates now.
Sorry i can check with you on An Chuan (Bed Setting)
I'm having a platform bed and the mattress are not placed at the edge of the bed.
does the bride need to sit on the wedding bed on actual day?
So i suggest to my mum that i can shift out the mattress to the edge before an chuan?
my mum claimed that the bed 'mattress' should not shift even after An Chuan or even after wedding, or sequence changes of bed sheet cover etc should be placed back in the same position? but i do not have any recess depth in to hold my mattress.
any advise? what is the purpose of An Chuan and what to do if i dun have bed frame but platform?

>> By right yes. usually after the photo shoot etc on actual day, the photographer will ask you go up the bed to take some pics, so you will automatically go up the bed.
So i suggest to my mum that i can shift out the mattress to the edge before an chuan?
>> U can tilt the mattress slanted if it is a platform bed

>> your mum is right. that is by right and using a normal bed. And if platform bed, ideally there must be a recess area to hold the mattress. If yours dont have, then you cannot do it and this An Chuang is just for symbolic wedding significance
We are planning to have our ROM on 30/9/12 (八月å五), is this date suitable for us ? Beside the date mentioned, any advise on any other auspicious date for us to choose from ?
Another, to clarify my doubts, that the 3 months before and after of our ROM are not allowed to attend other people's wedding. Does it apply only to ROM date or traditional customary wedding or both ?
Bride DOB – 21 May 1981 (Rooster)

Bride Dad year born – 1944 (Monkey)
Bride Mum year born – 1954 (Horse)
Groom Dad year born – 1952 (Dragon)

I will start the 2014 dates calculation (using Bazi) ard Aug this year. U can contact me then. If you looking at tong shu, it will only be out in 2014 Aug.
This is pure superstition that has no logical basis in Feng Shui or Date Selections. So you can safely forget about it as it wont affect your marriage in any way
We are planning to have our ROM this year 2012.
Is 30 Oct (Tue, 1pm-3pm) an auspicious date?
Otherwise, what are the best auspicious dates available for us?
Would you be able to provide the timing as well?
As spoken in the email, i am looking at 2014 for my AD however, i wish to bring forward to around oct-dec 2013.
Can you advise if these two dates are suitable as i got it from my mother, seriously do not know how she get it. If not, can you advise some dates ard oct-dec 13 for me to arrange for the hotel bookings first before consulting you for the wedding timings?
We are planning to have our wedding next year. We are looking at Sep & Oct 2013. What are the auspicious date for us? We are looking at 14 & 28 Sep & 19 Oct. Not too sure if the dates are good?
