For minor renovation in existing house, do we still need to choose an auspicious date to start work, i.e painting, changing of stove, and changing of kitchen basin, etc.
For our wedding bed, can the delivery be made any time as long as we don't sleep on it or must we choose an auspicious date as well?

To answer your qns:

The main door is the most important in any property. If the Qi at the main door is bad, the feng shui of the house cannot be that good. If it is good, generally we just need to fix the rest of the things like stove positioning, bed positioning etc etc in the house to make it perfect. Of course, we need to identify what is the exact problem that will occur to the occupants first. Feng Shui is not just about good and bad, if good, we must know what is good. And if bad, what is bad exactly.
2.Some people select house base on calculation of unit number, is numberology more impt than direction of main door for fengshui.
House number is NOT important from Feng Shui perspective. A house with the No. 444 can still be very good in terms of wealth if the main door and other factors are good. Similarly, a house with No. 888 can still be bad if the main door, stove and other factors are bad.
I am not an expert in numerology, so i can't answer this part of the question for you

For fertility, there can be various factors causing it. If the gynae proved nothing wrong with a couple, then it could either be the Bazi or Feng Shui that is causing the problem. For a ladies Bazi chart, some are hard or even impossible to conceive. In this case, it will be difficult to conceive unless certain luck comes and clash away the elements causing this problem and in that yr, you might have a higher chance.
If there is nothing wrong with the couples's Bazi chart, then likely it could be the Feng Shui that is causing the problem. The door could be situated in a location & direction where the Qi is not conducive for kids or the stove could be sitting and facing certain Qi that cannot have kids.
Unfortunately, there is no generic feng shui cures for this sort of issues. Hope this helps.

For changing of stove, yes an auspicious date need to be chosen. This is VERY important. For other renovations, so long as it involves hacking, drilling etc etc, then a date needs to be chosen.
The delivery of the wedding bed can be made anytime. No need to select a date for it. Only setting the bed needs a date.

May I ask...so those dates other than 10th July, we definitely cannot use? Even after the Tong Shu is out and we do another calculation? Or if we do a ba zi calculation now, will it be possible that the other dates can be used?

For Tong Shu, it is for mass consumption only. If you buy different publications of Tong Shu from different countries and if you check online tong shu, you will realise that different tong shu will state different things for the same day. One tong shu may say this date good for marriage, the other may not. It is inconsistent.
And in the Tong shu, it may indicate that a particular date is good for marriage. But logically speaking, it cannot be this date is good for marriage for the whole world right? This date will be good for some and bad for the rest. How to determine this? Only by using Bazi.
Let's give another example. In the Tong Shu, there is a day call a "Success" day. This day is suppose to be good for all important activities. But on these days, there will be someone making lots of money and there will be someone losing lots of money. How did you explain that? This is suppose to be a good day for everyone...! The registration date (ROM date) is your marriage date. This is the most important. This is the day both of you officially and legally become husband and wife.
For the other 2 days (SG & Malaysia banquet), you can also choose a good day for it. There is no harm in doing so and not difficult. However, the focus is still the ROM day.

If you are after a general Tong Shu start of reno day, I can give it to you here free in the forum. I will need the animal zodiac signs of all the occupants in the house.
But as i mentioned, this way of selecting date does not take into account the feng shui of the house. It is not accurate.
For dates selected according to the feng shui of the house (and the occupants), I will need to visit your property to take the direction. I do charge a fee for this.

Every day has a purpose. It will even be listed in the 2010 Tong Shu. The purpose of this day is not for wedding purpose.

The next earliest day in June will be 3rd June. Don't know if this is too early for you. If not, then the next one will be 2nd Jul. The rest of the dates clashes, so cannot use.
Note that this is a very general date selection for moving in. It did not take into account the house direction etc.

hope you can help me- but i am in Australia getting married and cannot find any advice here.
My partner and i (both rabbits) had planned to marry July 18, 2009, but his brother has now announced that he and his partner will marry in Malaysia July 4. I do not know whether to continue with our date or cancel due to bad luck of siblings marrying so close. I believe next year is bad year for us to marry and wonder whether to postpone to 2011?
any advice?

Why is it that it is not good for you to get married next yr? Next yr 2010 is not good for those born in yr of the Monkey, not Rabbit. You can get married next yr, so long as you choose a good date for it.

FYI, a general auspicious date in the tong shu can be be deemed bad for you if the date is not compatible with your Bazi.

Hi sher_gum,
As much as i want to help you in the area of general good dates, the Tong Shu is not out yet, so i will not know or be able to select general Tong Shu auspicious date for wedding for 2010 yet. Right now, the only way and also the right and accurate way of doing it will be using Bazi to select dates. FYI, a date reflected auspicious in the Tong Shu may still be bad for both of you if the date chosen is not compatible wtih both your Bazi.
As for Bazi wedding dates selection, it is part of my consultation service to my clients, hence i can't provide it here free in the forum or it will be unfair to my clients who paid for my service. Hope you understand.
If you have any particular date in mind, just post it here. I can advise you if it is a bad day as there are some days that are definitely bad and cannot be used for marriage; and some days that will clash to either of you or your parents, so cannot be used as well.
