- 02/01/2011 (b/w 24th dec to 8th Jan)

2012:

- 09/02, 15/02, 21/02, 11/03, 21/04, 05/05, 22/06

** Note that there are general tong shu good dates only and both your bazi are not taken into consideration yet. If the date does not match both your Bazi, the date is still considered inauspicious, even if the tong shu says good as tong shu is for generic mass consumption only.

The tong shu for 2013 will only be out next yr 7th lunar month. Hence if you looking at general tong shu dates, after the tong shu is out then i can advise you. Right now the only way is using Bazi to select. By time tong shu is out, as you might know, most weekends dates for most hotels will be full by then

My fiance & I would like to get married on both an auspicious day & in an auspicious year. I understand that 2012 is the year of the Dragon & it clashes with the Dog & the year of the Snake is not the greatest for the Snake. Please suggest auspicious days in the first half of 2014. We are looking to have our first child in 2015 & the second one in 2018.

It is way way to early to start the selection of 2014 dates and i haven't start yet (no masters will do that yet). If you are looking at using bazi to select the 2014 dates, you can get back to me next year 2012 July period and i will start the selection. If you looking at general tong shu dates for 2014, the tong shu will only be out in 2013 July/Aug period.

With 3 months before and after your wedding, you cannot attend any wedding, wakes and childbirth

Hence by right you cannot attend each other's wedding.

2012 is year of the Dragon and clashes to both of you (Dog). Hence it is a very bad yr for wedding. 2013 will be better. U may want discuss with your parents first and 90% of the time, they will object to it.

Can you please give me a set of suitable dates (saturdays) for the end of 2012 / early 2013? As I mentioned in an earlier post, we were looking at 24 november 2012..

24th Nov 2012 is not a general tong shu good date for wedding

The tong shu for 2013 is not out yet, hence will have to wait till next yr 7th mth then will be out. Now the only way is to use bazi to select, which is the right way. tong shu dates are general dates only.

For Nov 2012 dates to Jan 2013 general dates, here they are:

2012:

- 15/11, 20/11, 26/11, 27/11, 09/12, 13/12, 21/12

2013:

- 02/01, 13/01, 19/01, 31/01

At the same time, what is 'lonely star' about? What does it mean when it present on your wedding day? Will something bad happened to the couple?

- 30/9, 18/11, 25/11, 9/12

These r the only gd weekends n don't clash to anyone.

**note that these are general dates only and a date can still be considered as inauspicious if the date and both your bazi are not compatible

As you r born rooster yr, this yr 2011 is a bad year for rom (as rabbit n rooster clashes). ideally should be in dragon year.

For 26th feb, it is not a general tong shu good date for wedding, but don't clash anyone too. It can be used if that date is compatible with both your bazi.

They are all western calendar dates. The good general tong shu good dates for the period you want (weekends) clashes to either 2 of you or one of your parents, which is why I didn't give to you

My fiancé grandma just passed away recently so we had to marry within 100 days ie by 8 feb 2012.
However I had to attend a very good friend's wedding on 11 nov 2011. What is your advice??

Yes so long as you rom within 100days,it will be fine

However, you cannot your friend's wedding coz within 100 days before and after your wedding you cannot attend others wedding. For his side, he cannot attend any wedding within 1 year from the date his grandma pass away.

That is during the leap month period, hence a bad month for wedding.

The only June weekend you can use will be 24th June.

Yes that date is not a general tong shu good date and is not a good date for wedding too. Hence if you haven't book, best not to choose this date. Furthermore, this is in the leap month, and according to chinese beliefs, it is considered an inauspicious month for wedding.

That is the leap month and according to chinese beliefs, this is considered an inauspicious month for wedding (something like Qing Ming and 7th lunar mth). So far i havent give anyone to wed in this month.

I will be holding my customary wedding in Nov 2012. I have a good friend who is going to ROM in Oct. Can both of us attend each other's event? Is the 4 months gap apart also applicable for customary-ROM or only for customary-customary? Thank you for your kind advice.
