I heard some people who had irregular menses bef preggie will all go back to normal once after birth.... for some, giving birth is like a hormone regulator thingy...
I wonder if it applies to me... me also like u one... once every 2-3 mths kind...keke...

I went for this prenatal massage at Mosque st.. find the therapist really pro n knowledgeable... 45min for $70. I find her rather good n planning to use her for my post natal most prob.

btw her pre natal massage sessions for weekends r fully booked till 7 Jul...so if u gals interested, can go for weekdays after work. ;p
she's reco by my neighbour who's also preggie n due in aug.
My therapist is Rose n she's really good in 'capturing' my problem areas. Bef session, she'll ask me what prob I'm having n just told her lower back ache n voila, she's able to fin dthe problem areas n relieved the ache n surprising to find out other hidden problem areas which lead to the main one that I'm experiencing.
During the session, I ask her why I feel pain at certain places she massaged, she's able to give me a good reason. Now I feel so good n 'loosen up'. Good to know she dun hard sell n there's no package for any of her massages sessions. She even mention that some of her customers go to her for a last massage bef checking into the hospital! She claimed such massages r good for both mum n bb n thus the labour hours her customer gone thru is so much shorter n less painful.... well, check out the web site to find out more. Just wanna share some good stuffs wif u gals.

I just got my 2nd hand ameda pump..must say its really SLIENT!!! the medela mini electric is like grass cutting sound..this ameda sounds like those "respirator" sound in the hospital..but i haven't try it yet..waiting for my new funnels to arrive then i try to pump..but 1 thing..its quite heavy to lug to work becos of the motor

trying to finish up my fenugreek..not very diligent in eating it..but i do start to drink the papaya fish soup..see a very slight improvement..hopefully with Ameda..can see more improvement..

bf org is near bugis..i never bring Markus there lar..so far i only bought him to PD and my mom's plc..no other plc liao..cos i oso scared later got shopping halfway he start crying non stop..i oso duno wat to do..the other day at PD there..after his jab..he cry supe loud..ppl were staring at us..
some PD say dun bring bb out until they reach 6mths..cos outside air too much germs

Maybe i shld try the one u recommended, dislike joints which push u to sign on packages. Amore was trying to get me to upgrade my package when i am jus half-way thru my existing one.

Decided not to get the Quinny in the end cos i really think it looks like a supermart cart, esp those in Daiso, when you put the carseat on. Hahah...and it doesn't look as comfortable. Sorry..no offence to those who like Quinny ya, just personal tots! hee..

Currently, only Rose is doing the sessions. She's the boss of the place.
for her post natal, she has another partner who oversees the post natal operations wif a team of certified therapists.
I'm going for my second one on 6th.
I really feel less back ache after her first session. Her massages techniques r not those soft soft kind...she specialise in deep tissue n joints massages.... has so many certs in her clinic see till blur. according to her, first session usu u'll feel some pain cos of all the tightness etc... after that, the pain will wear off n u'll really enjoy each seesion liao.
do make appt bef popping by cos she dun entertain walk ins...

no leh..nothing in order. only got the pram/stroller and carseat. all the nursery things haven't buy yet. Can't find a cot i like, the one i quite like in Robs is too ex according to the old man..so didnt buy.
actually i am not pantang lah, but my ILs and hubby are, so just follow wat they say to avoid quarrels lor. U ever heard of preggie women cannot touch or even see babies or not?? my hb's aunty was with her grand-daughter the other day, when she saw me coming, she immediately hid her baby leh..i felt like an alien manz...

ya...i am like so in love with my pram. I ordered an orange/light grey one, but want to change to red/dark grey cos i think the former may be difficult to maintain. but the sales girl told me only have pure red. Dunno if it's ok if I have a boy, will it be too girly or not? A red pram??? The other alternative is grey but i want a bright cheerful colour for my bb leh.

Yes!! those cots r so nice rite. those in centrepoint. It's under the Mamas & Papas brand, which i think is frm UK. The cot i like costs abt $880 so hb say cannot buy..but i like...but then again cos my house theme is more resort, with lots of dark wood, having a cream/white cot may be very out of place.

Sometimes when my MIL tells me something quite unbelievable, i just smile and try to change subject asap. and then i go home and complain to my hb and roll my eyes like mad!! hahaha...but the aunty ya..so extreme. Apparently she has a pair of twins (grandchildren) and the boy twin saw a preggie woman and she apparently touched him, the aunty then claimed the baby boy has been unable to sleep well at night, whereas the baby girl who didnt see the preggie woman has no problem. So now when she sees me, she hids! But i think it's not very nice...makes me feel so out of place..infact i think it will hurt all MTBs feelings rite.

Rose won't talk unless u talk n ask her questions... like me lor...felt some pain during her massage at one of the joints, asked her abt it...then she'll explain to me the problems I'm having...or I didn't even know I have... she also dun massage your feet n ankles n your big tummy... it's a no touch zone according to her. Not good for mummy n baby.
the place she's operating is not as posh as the Amore or the established spas...but professional n knowledge wise I feel she's better than any of the therapists in those posh spas. when r u going? I'm going down again on 6th.

I paid in full for my package with my gynae today. $1600 which includes normal delivery and consultation from week 12 onwards. Could have waited till delivery to pay the bal. but hb wanted to skip the GST increment, so decided to pay all today. Very siong sia..spent so much within 4 days.

I've paid for my antenatal package wif my gynae last mth think ard 20th week... cost me $600 (includes all subsequent consultations, scans n all necessary tests like urine..etc.) Next appt I'll need to pay $1070(include the 7%GST) for the normal delivery charges. Hopefully I dun need any assisted or any emergency C section... cos need to top up the extras.... else if normal delivery...that's all I've to pay to gynae.
oops...still got hospital package haven pay.... keke..me also headache liao... so many figures...lucky can use medisave...so upfront cash not too much..think in all cash I need to pay ard $2k (can be slightly more) after deducting medisave.

But from the print out, you can see the limbs very clearly, like those 3D pictures you see in pregnancy books. In normal ultrascan, it looks more like outlines only rite, the 3D is 3D lor..more real! Dunno how to explain. Oh ya, my gyane's in the Mind Ur Body today.
Anyway, with just 2 mths away, no pt spending the $100++ on the scans lah, i wld prefer to b surprised and see baby on the day of birth! u can save the $ n buy more diapers! I am told best not to do so many scans anyway, so unless it's necessary, dun subject ur baby to more scans.
oh ya.. how do your gyanes noe for sure you guys are carrying boys?? How does it look like on the scan? cos normal ultrascans more with outlines, how to see the male organ??

If you like to stay cool in the comfort of an air con place, there is indoor seating with "sofa beds" as well. i think hubby and i will be frequenting e place more often. we are not clubbing kinda pple but we really enjoyed being there. and good for you! e place is really short walking distance from rasa sentosa. =D i tried the mango tango yesterday, non alcholholic (coz me driving), very yummy like a sorbet!
