Dont worry,yours will turn out well too..When u having ur food tasting,u are given the menu & you can write yr comments on it...After the food tasting,your coordnitor will contact you & u can inform him which dishes you wish to change.

I had 32 tables plus 2 spare tables. I bought 3 cartons of red wine and 8 bottles of liquors.

there are still some -ve feedbacks on the svc from my guests.

The bqt in-charge is very good and attentive to us but my hubby feels that its the guests that are more important. And also main problem purely come from the waiter and waitress.

Other comment is that the food is nice

jhoo - tks for the update. I went for my food tasting on Wed n emphasize to them that food and service is very important to my guest. They are there to celebrate our big day..we want them to have gd service and food!

Wat comments abt the service of the staff? Wat's the ratio of waiter/waitress to the table?

I collected my invites earlier...Like 3.5 mths before AD. Cos' I scheduled my food tasting a mth before AD

i actually tot of have my food tasting 3.5 mths before AD but family think it abit too early,so thinking to have it 1 month before also.
that mean i also have to collect my card earlier like you

mine is wedding lunch at the banquet suite. cos i think the function room is not very grand..so qiao..we both taking the same day and different timing..urs is a dinner rite? =)

Yes.. mine is dinner.. can't b possibility having lunch at banquet suite also.. Hmm.. think i will have to check how long they will need to get the place ready for my dinner. Can i know roughly what time your lunch starting and ending?

Just went for my food-tasting at M Hotel last week. It went very well. Took our feedback very seriously and praise the Lord - our parents enjoyed the food. We even took pictures of every dish! Hehe...

Hi Blueflower,

Zul will contact you about 3 months before the AD about the food-tasting. He will give you a few dates to choose from. If you feel it's too early, you can tell him to give you the next set of available dates for the following month.

Hi all

Just to contribute a little. I feel that M hotel's food is better than Sheraton. I have 2 consecutive wedding dinners to attend in last Dec. One in sheraton, one in M hotel.

Thumbs up for M hotel. No worry if you are going to book there

U may want to check with the printers if they have samples of wording for the inserts for lunch at banquet suite. Hope this helps.

tks for sharing. U r having the candle theme ya? I just met up with Aaron on Sat to confirm on the theme, wedding favours, flower colours, ect. Hope things will turn out well on my AD in 2wks plus time

I cant remember how many theme can we choose..If im not wrong is ard 3-4 theme..
As for ur food tasting, do give ur comments to the Chef if you have..they will do their best to suit your taste..

btw, i used to work at M hotel b4 and what i can say is,their service is getting better...!

kittyrain - the function room have 2 theme, sth like natural theme and candle theme. U also got 3 types of flowers (roses, gerberras and lily) to choose from. Aaron will meet up with u 2-3wks before AD to discuss on the details, theme, etc.

Bluewind - yes, counting down. Actually a bit tired with the wedding planning. Just hope all will turn beautiful on my AD.

I am planning my banquet in M Hotel this coming Oct. Mind sharing wif me ur pic of e ballroom? Read positive feedbacks on e services & food. Am considering e Function room. I will be meeting Aaron this coming Sat to discuss e package. Anything I shld look out for? Mind giving me tips on what to neg during e discussion? Will be grateful for any advises given..thks in advance
