we are looking at M hotel too, saw the banquet suite and found it nice. Just that the coordinator seems pretty cold (too business-like) and not sure if will be difficult to work with.

Btw, heard that their next wedding show is coming up soon in Oct, will probably see what perks they have on offer before deciding.

hehe.... isit easy to ask for perks or they are very strict about giving perks? I got bad experience with coordinators when I was preparing for my ROM last time at other hotels so to me, coordinators are pretty important... M hotel's coordinators easy to talk/work with?

haha easy to talk meaning?sometime also have to depend on th e hotel policy etc...so far for m hotel the coordinator are fine..they will do the best to fulfil our request

the decoration themes are applicable to both anson and banquet suite.

anyway, thought the buffet food for the wedding workshop was so-so, really hope the actual day food will be better.

Ok la the food for a Hotel spread. So far first time i tasted "shark fin" soup and abalone for a free admission wedding show. The noodles is bad though.

However also first time, the hotel dont give complimentary parking coupon when requested.

wahh... really?! no complimentary carpark?! that's bad.. wait guests sure complain. Hmmm... But I've look through the package and there's complimentary carpark for 20% guaranteed guests. isit ex to park at M hotel?

I got 2 complimentary parking coupon from my coordinator. (for me and my FIL) I think the reception ladies can't give the coupons, only the coordinators can do so.

Hi i'm new to thread, i went to the wedding show ystday n placed the deposit. For Sunday & Public holiday, the parking fee is per entry basis, $2.50, pretty ok right.
And yes, we were given complimentary parking coupon too

Carolyee> dont misunderstand. On the wedding day there will be 20% parking for guests. What I meant was for the bridal show..Normally they will give complimentary parking coupon when u asked. Some hotels even asked you when you turn up.

But when we asked, the receptionist say complimentary only given to confirmed couples. Those who signed with them. A bit shocked la. Cos never expect to be rejected.

To clarify, we are M hotel couple. Just that we signed some months ago and attended the wedding show cos we wanted to see the bridal suite and check out the wedding themes set up.

Anyway, my SO say nvm lo just pay for the parking. No point making a fuss out of it. But I find it ridiculous la.
