Hi all! I know there were already a discussion in some of the earlier threads on this topic. Could I just seek some understanding whether if it’s really a must that a wedding can only be held 3yrs after an immediate fam member’s passed on?

Like must it be date-to-date DDMMYYYY or in terms of YYYY can already? For e.g. 2018 passed on, 2021 can hold wedding

Hope to hear some advices pls =)

But is it must be exactly by the date? Htb is ok not following the 3yrs despite the immediate fam passed was one of his parents; and there is some level of concerns at my end.

In my perspective it is okay not to follow if you are not superstitious but most of the older generation family members would be more "pang dang" about it. So depend on individual? But if you are worried, it is better to follow.
