Hi everyone,

Just wondering if most of u used the printer tied in with Intercon for the printing of your invitation cards? Was it Jasvy?
Any feedback regarding them?

tigerlily, i used Jasvy for my invitation cards. U may have heard many bad comments abt their service but it isnt true lor. The boss does toks in a v arrogant tone but he is v professional in the biz. Furthermore, service is v prompt. Only takes max 3-5days to print 200cards. We did enquire to T-dragon but they need 3 WEEKS to print...which is too ridiculous!!

Anyway, its best to find out for urself...

u chose the maroon theme? did they have full table cloths in maroon or just the table runners?
thanks for the tip on Jasvy. Yup my FH read some comments abt their service in the other threads n was abit worried..

hihi tigerlily, u r rite. i chosen the maroon theme. For VIP tables, there will be complete maroon tables cloth and chairs are tied with maroon sash ribbon. As for the guests, only provided maroon table runners but alternate seat covers are tied with maroon sash ribbons.

think the cards now are a maroon one and a gold one.. but not sure if any newer themes are coming out...

dougan, tigerlily125 - i heard frm michelle the new cards n theme will be out in october ...but they are most likely doing away with the maroon n gold but not too sure. she mentioned that the new theme will be more netural kind so wun clash with out EG colors ....

Hi Yuki,
Well, I booked in Jan this yr, is that considered early? I have to admit that date is a really popular date and as I was only in Spore on holiday for a week in Jan this yr, I was rushing around like a madwoman meeting all the ballrooms' coordinators. 99% of the hotels in Singapore were already booked up on that date (including Hotel Inter), but Im lucky in a way that the couple booked for this date was only a tentative booking, and they gave the date up when we say we want to place a deposit, so that's how we ended up getting it. My first preference was Shangri-la and Fullerton, but unfortunately, those bookings were confirmed bookings.

Anyway, Im happy that I have got Hotel Inter too, with the renos, I am sure the ballroom is going to look much better! So have u done most things for your wedding? I haven't really done much, dress not done, photoshoot also not done yet...I have tons to do when I return to Spore in Oct!

BTW, dougan, can you please email me the new cards too? I am curious what they look like.

Yuki, yeah i lived and worked in Aust. Have been here for the last 7/8 yrs...my fiancee is a Singaporean and we both miss Spore, so we intend to move back to Sin in Oct to settle down for at least a couple of yrs.

Hi all, the cards from Dougan aren't new cards. They are actually the existing cards up for this year. Heard the new cards will only be out next year. Cheers!

Hey ladies, the existing cards shld have 3 designs. One is gold with the chinese word "XI" in front, One is maroon color and the another one is white & long rectangular shape.

For me, i chosen the gold color with the chinese word "XI". I used red ink hotstamping from Jasvy. Think it was $180 for 1st 200pcs. Include any cartoon icons at f.o.c .Heard some printers do charge for additional icons. And subsequent printing is $50. By the way, i oso customised ang baos with our names on it. $40 for 100pcs(can mix mini size & normal size).

Lots of great chandelier lights and the wall paper change.. Veri nice. My FH say small lei to hold 35 tables .. there as compare to other hotel but I luv it hee hee..
