Yah lookinh ard now :/ just came bk from W hotel showcase tday ... Not nice and crazy price ==" intercontinental can beat W hands down
U got go Capella? I rather u choose Capella than W... Yeah Intercon is good & nice... My dream wedding place... Have you check four season hotel? Heard not bad too...

Four season have not check haha ! A couple told us Grand hyatt is exellent lol !! But its over our budget :/ and so many ballrooms , so No haha.... Hilton show tday but bcox of W hotel we missed ¡¡
Hahah... Grand Hyatt is good but when I make enquiry til now no email from them. Tat y I give it a missed... Hilton wasn't my idea place tho the price is good...

Awll, thats a waste leh, cox the couple told us they are v v genourous in their perks and food portion is exellent and high end with quality too ...

Their ballroom is great i would say, but based on my bro and my cousin wedd, we dont recommend as the food wasnt nice leh....
But Intercon is really good =)
Update! I just had my wedding banquet on 18 October with Intercontinental Hotel. It is really a thumbs up head to toe with this hotel. Service was good. Food got good feedback and the entire programme was smooth. The hotel also stick to their promises of what is discussed in the wedding contract and additional requests. Although price can be higher than many other hotels, I think it is worth the price we are paying for. Will blog about it soon for other btb who are looking at Intercon as a wedding venue.

Hi all, I happened to walk pass Intercon in the afternoon over the weekend.
Saw their staffs removing all the deco and flowers and preparing for the next event when there's still quite a number of guests in the ballroom.
Is this normal for a lunch reception? I expected them to at least wait till most guests have cleared before removing the stage deco and flowers.

Hi perhaps u can email them on ur request. I think mandarin orchard accept min 6 tables

May be different days different prices... I went to enquire about intercon for my wedding on a Saturday evening banquet, after gst and tax, one table close to 2k, and they only have 6 dishes it's pretty ex compared to other 5 star hotel offering 8 dishes. But for weekday the price it's ok. Even though the ball room and reception area is very nice it's too ex for my budget. The co ordinator told me the hotel can only give limited number of free parking coupons as they share the same parking as bugis junction, so I don't like the idea that parking for my guests will be quite limited.

Yah 6 only, if want extra dish must add money... The co ordinator say the 6 dishes consists of expensive ingredient and they will be individually plated for all tables, that's the justification for the higher prices. But I feel not worth it...

Banquet style. Made an appointment with the co ordinator and she show us the wedding booklet and its 6 dishes for a sat night, but on weekdays cheaper rate and more dishes. I went last November Maybe now change already.

There are quite a few other hotels offering better wedding lunch packages at a lower rate. Their dinner packages are very expensive after fat IMHO. I think they may have increased their prices or changed their menu for 2016
Hello..we held our wedding recently at intercontinental, our banquet events manager Shane Tan and his staffs on duty that night did a superb job!
I am not sure if u can choose the events manager but we are really lucky to have him stand guard thruout the whole dinner. Besides being attentive he also give us tips and assure us everything will be ok during our March in which calms us down.
Needless to say the ballroom is so pretty and I received all good reviews on the food that was served that night. Intercontinental Bugis is good !

Hi, I just booked my wedding banquet at Intercontinental Singapore for 2018. My coordinator is Jane and she's really very approachable, responsible and prompt in her replies. As we wanted a non-alcoholic wedding, she helped to exchange the alcohol for other items and was very understanding about our requests.
On the day itself, it will be the banquet manager but the coordinator would be there if she's available.
