He was appointed as the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Religious leader before and is articulate in English, Tamil and Hindi. I hope you’re all doing well! I’m Tricia, and I’m currently based in London. I’m a Singaporean-Indian planning my Indian Hindu wedding in Singapore for 2026. My husband and I had our civil ceremony earlier this year, and we’re now planning for a traditional Hindu wedding back home.
A bit about us: I’m from the Malayalee, Tamil, and Hindustani communities, and my husband is Portuguese Catholic. We’re also planning a Catholic wedding in London, so it’s been quite a juggling act!
I need help with:
1. Venue Recommendations: Elegant venues that allow traditional Hindu fire ceremonies.
2. Vendors: Suggestions for mehndi artists, photographers/videographers, and florists who are great at working with multicultural weddings.
3. Event Planners: Experienced wedding planners in Singapore who can help with all the pre-wedding events (Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet) and the main ceremony.
4. General Advice: Any tips, tricks, or recommendations from fellow brides or wives who’ve gone through similar planning challenges.
