How to meet a suitable partner?


Oops... think I am the culprit who has coined the term "pure singles". When I coined this term, it was not meant to mean that singles are pure. It was for the purpose of clarifying if the revamped SDU is only meant for those who has not been married before as singles would comprise of those who are divorced, widowed, as well as those who has not been married before.

What is there to mind if the other party is not a "pure" single (ie separated or divorcee)? If the other party minds, then you are better off dumping him/her.

There are pros and cons to both single and married lives. No lifestyle is perfect. It all depends on how we make the best of the lifestyle we chose or land in.
 
i agree with doll on no lifestyle is perfect..

and agrees with SM on those divorcee who cant get to settle down again...are those with children

Well, as mentioned above, there are quite a number of avenues. I have not tried them yet.

Not to border on procrastinating, I am actually enjoying the quiet moments I have right now when the mother takes the children. I have the whole house to myself. Bought myself a toy to stream movies to my tv, catching up on episodes of House, Heroes as well as other unwatched movies. Playing peaceful music or the 80s at a comfortable volume that I can enjoy.

I know this cannot go on forever. But at this stage, I'll cross the bridge when I come to it.

i've a hyper active 6yrs old boy, and he's driving me nuts with all his constant chatters and questioning...can't blame him lah, he's the only kid in the hse, perhaps he's lonely

my ex doesn't even wanna see my boy lor, not to mention bring him out...so im stuck wif my big baby over the weekends...how i wish i can catch up on my Heroes lor...got the dvd, but no time to finish...haiz...

evilprincess, well, you could install him on the computer, surf to cartoonnetwork or some other kid sites, there's plenty of games for him to play... that should get you by for an episode or two...

ya, if u miss any ep of heroes, you'll probably be lost...its always into the past/present/future sorta thingy...flying here n there....teleporting, etc, etc...all the crazy stuff tat a normal human being can NEVER do..hahaha...
 
I too, initially dislike the initial episodes of Season 3. You have future heroes coming back to stop the present heroes. Damn confusing.

But after that it got better. S03E18 just out last Mon btw...

House MD is on a break. I like the Wilson character, sane, normal, overly considerate unlike the main character who's a real a**hole but you gotta give it to him for his genius.

you guys (sm and Sylar) are more updated... i watch on Star World, and tonight is Ep.14, the start of Part II for Season 3.

yeah for Season 3 Ep.1-13... i do feel that few episodes/scenes were draggy as it's more for learning about certain characters....
and thereafter, shld be more interesting as sylar returns to his old killing self....

just watched ep.14 on Star World! A good build-up for the upcoming episodes..... sm and Sylar are surely front runners. haha...

evilprincess, i guess Part I (ep.1-13) was more into the big mastermind behind the conspiracy plus more character-building (abit needless though).... happy catching up! heh heh....

eztv is a bit torrent site. those files in there are torrent files. you'll need a torrent client (such as µtorrent, azureous, bit comet, etc) in order to download. As this is a peer-to-peer (p2p) network, you are essentially connected to a group of people downloading and sharing the same file. That is the beauty in the design of bit torrent.

The downside is that not all torrents can be downloaded. You'll have to check the status if there are any seeders (those who have complete files and are sharing) sharing. Else you'll be stuck with an incomplete download.

As with all internet stuff, just be aware of what you're downloading... not all are good stuff, some may even be bogus or harmful.
