how to cancel rom ?

I booked the time slot from rom and receive notice of marriage. but now i have some problem with my girl friend. how do i cancel the notice of marriage from rom ？I am PR and my girlfried is a foreigner . what will happened if we did not turn up for the solemnization and document verification?

you did the right thing by coming in here. Based on all the information you gather in here, just print it out and hand it to them. Pardon my sarcasm but why can't you call register of marriage to enquire instead of posting questions for random answers from forums?

However, no option to cancel. It is best that you check with ROM. Go ahead to no show and face the consequences. Think seriously, when your PR renewal is due, your no show could impact. Worth it? What's stopping you from checking officially on what is the protocol.
