How do I know she is for real?

I have been talking to this gal on the msn and phone for afew months but we never even meet once. I did try to ask her out but on the first meeting, she didnt appear and sms me that she was busy. I waited for 2hrs(yup so dumb of me). Even now, she try to find excuess or let me wait for her until the day was almost end. Beside that, during our chatting. she likes to mention about her ex-bf and said many guys are after her. What is she trying to proof? I have asked my friends, they said Im just been used.
All I wish is to make friend with her. How do I solve this problem? any advise from guys n gals?

either she doesnt like u enough to want to know u better (talking to u online is just to pass time), or she is actually attached/in an ambiguous relationship.

If she doesnt want to meet or find some excuses, chances are that she is not interested. If she really is, she will try to make it.
