My BS is from Sophia.. My outdoor PS is (1) at Changi beach; (2) outside Changi Naval Base (that lalang field; (3) Labrador park; (4) High court

I finished my dinner at 9.45pm.

Than i went to the other ballroom in the basement as there is an Indian wedding

Anyway, just to share our experience with HIPV..

Coordinator / Sales manager : Adeline. She's very helpful, and almost every requests can be done for us. When we first signed up one year ago, she's only an executive.. Now, a manager and a mother of one.. Felt happy for her too..

Food: Couldn't ask for anything better. All my guests appreciate the food greatly and some of my friends told me they intend to use HPIV for their wedding too.. hee hee.. the first dish we selected has a sharkfins omelette which taste real good. Sharkfins soup is best.. Pipa duck really delicious even though we tasted it in our hotel room..

Carpark problem: Even though the basement 3 is closed for renovation, Adeline managed to find a workaround for us.

Ballroom: Beautiful lightings with cozy ambience. Too bad, we didn't have the time for rehearsal. Just follow instructions.. haha.. Actually.. the cake cutting is really lame.. My young cousin asked if he can eat the cake.. lol. For those who worry about the pillar, what we did was to bring another projector and let the ops mgr setup for us.. In that way, all our guests can see our two montages..

Wine: We instructed Neil (ops mgr) to open my 20 bottles of wine first before using their house wine. No problem at all. The remaining were sent back to my hotel room. We brought 3 bottles of Martell and 1 was returned to us. So honest of them.. haha..

Overall, everything went very smoothly. The following monday, Adeline even called to ask how's everything... so nice of her...

Anyway, in a nutshell, we are delighted to select HIPV, and None of what MK stated happened in our wedding. =)

Hi Lost,

I recommend you to exchange Food Tasting to reduce the cost of 1 table. If you are going for the option of Food Tasting + Delux room for helpers, I still recommend one complimentary table for the actual day. Why?

1) I got this perception that Holiday Inn group serves good food.. and so far.. of the many HI hotels I stayed.. all are great..

2) For the deluxe room, go to book a room at priorityclub.com .. the room rate is ard 175++.. You can try booking it..

A function room can be arranged on your AD if you request it. I used the function room for tea ceremony before my dinner banquet.

For the pillar problem, u need to source for ur own projector & splitter. Setting up will be done by the HIPV staff.

xmasnowy: I do not know how a splitter looks like. You need to bring in your own projector and splitter.. for my wedding, my personal wedding coordinator helped me to source for it one..

hi FeBTB,I only meet my coordinator for three times overall as my wedding in June 08 this year,then i start to meet her first time when placing deposit,second time when food tasting and finally during the finalisation.You are going to meet her again during the food tasting and if i am not wrong your wedding is in Feb,Jan is kinda late~

Finished my wedding last Saturday!!

Still left 16 bottles of south australian red wine, Lindemans Cawarra Merlots... well stored in my fridge... selling all 16 bottles at $15 each, SGD 240 total...

selling Martel Cordon blue , 1 little at only SGD 220... collection at Jurong East...
