Review for the food tasting.
Appetizers:
Crispy white bait fish - awesome. Everyone love it. crunchy
Breaded Bacon Prawn Roll - a little strong bacon smell. But family said its normal.
Marinated Jellyfish sprinkled with sesame seeds - ok only. not that fantastic. decide to keep it since it a common dish during wedding
Spiral Pasta with marinated baby squid - strong taste of maggi mee ketchup. pasta and baby squid do not match well. Decided to change it to california maki roll
Organic Prawns with lime mayonnaise - Fresh crunchy prawn. Lime juice not over powering. - great dish
Broth: Braised Seafood with Fried Fish Maw Soup
Taste the same of sharkfin. Lots of crab meat. The seasonings used are just the right amount.
Prawns: Poached Live Prawns with Inako Miso Soup
Delicious soup based - salty but nice. some of my family think its very salty.
Do not expect tiger prawn. Medium size prawn are served.
There is a water bowl with lemon available for rinsing your finger per table.
Fish: Live Garoupa in Hong Kong Style
Normal. love the crunchy spring onion used with the fish.
Meat: Roasted Crispy Chicken in Chef's signature sauce
Very little signature sauce placed at the base of the plate.
Some parts of the chicken are salty.
The sauce is little spicy (based on our opinion)
Noodles: Ee-fu Noodles with Yellow Chives and Shimeiji Mushrooms
Very smooth noodles. No starchy taste.
However, too much oil is used.
Dessert: Chilled Cream of Mango with Pomelo and Sago
Delicious.
Oh, there is a bottle of wine served during our food tasting.
