ermmmm popular sell de and daiso sell de is same type of puncher? cause the 1 i buy in daiso is not the same as the one shown memorable chocolate

i shall go see see look look this weekend.
two days ago i tried to use magazines and did a few bunches and threw it high, it flew down very nicely and colorful! hee

but i asked b4.. if ur wedding is later then tat, u still can book at tat price, provided they haven launch the latest 2012 price..

Julia: Thanks! Just received the package from Christopher for Jan-Mar. Asked him if I can book June 2012 using the price list for Jan-Mar. Hopefully can. Do you think Jan-Mar will be cheaper than the June one?

anyway should be going to the wedding show and I will sign the park cold card as well. After calculating, park gold card will help you save around $1000

Dark brown rose-designed floor carpet. THe drop-dwn lightings were off. Can imagine it'll b so nice and cosy if it's switched on!

They were doing light testing. Too bad they switched off the lights of the ballroom's wall right at the moment i wan to take a photo.
Big Chandelier!! The painting is replaced by red-litted walls. The whole place looks very mordern! THe same carpet as the reception area.

THk my camera phone did no justice to the actual place. It is very nice and im excited abt the chandeliers!! Go dwn and hav a feel!!

Hi BTBs at GPCH, I am also one of the brides for Nov 2010. Went down to view the new ballroom today, and am so glad to see the new ballroom and reception area!! Its a vast change and view from the previous state of the ballroom. Me and my hubby very very happy..hehe...

Took quite a lot of photos and hope to share with other excited BTBs here... =))

Agreed! Went down with my fiancé today and the ballroom looks really nice - a contemporary, chic look like boutique hotels! And the chandeliers look really grand, like Mandarin Oriental's

Just wondering if there are any new themes to be added so that it is more coordinated with the newly renovated ballroom.. My only hesitation is how it will work with the light pink theme for my wedding cos ballroom colors predominantly deep reds.. But still really excited and looking fwd to food tasting & theme selection!!

1) Did you get additional perks?
2) Did you add extra $ for the favours?
3) Thinking of solemnization package with chinese set menu. Is the food good? 4) is there a max number of table for the solemnization dinner? Thank u!!

Yeah the chandelier really resembles those of Mandarine Oriental. Modern, grand, v. nice!! Yeapy!!

I am impressed with what the renovations has done to the ballroom. I can't wait to see it for myself. And with the ballroom done, maybe they can start renovating their suites? :p

we were unable to view the ballroom as it is under renovation when we went down to sign the package, great to see that it is sooo PRETTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyy =D

Hi btb, I just back from GPCH visit, took leave to settle theme, table cloth n flowers arrangement. My wedding on 7th Nov 2010. I'm really impress with the renovation. Since many has alrdy put up photos, I don't hv to put liao. My food tasting this Sat, will post it here. I heard from Christ that bridal suit they r planning to reno but not any sonner so I won't benefit from it anyway.

actually one thing i really missed are the chinese calligraphy on the walls...

the red theme is really too cheena for my liking... i been there, found the RED walls too striking...

I prefer the red walls to the caligraphy. But for the table cloths, may not want to use red again.

Looking forward to the range of themes/colors that they will be providing. =)

Their theme have two new ones apart from what they show in the display room. I choose the "crystal theme" which is not there but in the picture Christ showed me. I seen the real one which I kinda of like it, so took it. My VIP table n chair r in black colour with gold sash, other table is gold n chair is ivory, chair is standard ivory color, can't change.

I kind of like the red wall, love the strong colour that contras from the wall.

Weixiang> yap mine is Sunday, I change the $250voucher to 10bottles wine. That time I use UOBcredit card n get additional 6 bottles wine. So I don't intend to bring wine. Shld be sufficient. I ask for addi room for my anniversary, but I end up using it for my wedding, so my xion-di can be drunk n stay over without worrying. Helers room standard 2pm-8pm. Last yr I sign was $898nett n get $68discount so only $830 nett per table. Good price I would say. I'm sure up price is natural after Reno n cannot compare cuz all hotel price will get more exp each year too. Now Sunday price after GSR n service charge is $900+.

All along I don't like the caligraphy cause it looks cheena to us but have not seen the new deco yet maybe pop by one of these days.

Hope they come up with more themes to pair with the new deco.

Hi has anyone signed up for the park hotel card? Recently was checking with Chris on whether we can be entitled to the free table with 25 tables confirmed.. However he says it's only applicable for new signups.. But I saw the brochure even before I signed contract, so tot it's strange.. Anyone managed to get the perks from the card? Care to share? Thks!

apparently, i am quite sad that additional requests couldn't be fulfilled after signing on the dotted line...

for example, if signing up the park gold card, 1 is entitled $150 voucher.. i emailed to Christopher whether this could be done to exchange for wine... He promptly replied cannot... Likewise i had $250 F&B voucher which William penned down that it can be exchanged for xx bottles of wine...

However, if i were to sign up for park gold card, i can't exchange it for wine.. duhz... then what good is the $150 F&B voucher from Park Gold Card for... In the contract, its explicitly mentioned that additional red wine is charged at $30 nett... Then at least can exchange for 5 bottles right? Actually that would be a lousy amount.. even then also can't....

my VG and PG are way more flexible... for example, my ROM video was supposed to be 3-4 hour coverage... but my VG out of good will extended to 5 hour coverage FOC. likewise for my PG whom i had nego in covering my AD PG... especially my appointed BS "Bridal Concept"... even though i had signed on the dot and made 70% payment so far, they are willing to include and accede to my requests.... my requests were not unreasonable to begin with..

Sheryl: you must be holding a valid park gold card at the point of signing on the dotted line..

in my case, once you had signed.. it will be very hard for further requests....

heng, i already penned most things down on paper with william back then.. William was kind to throw additional stuff for my ROM even though the contract had been penned and signed. My contract did not mention about anything for solemnisation...

Will update BTBs after my meeting with Christopher for food tasting and etc...

Maybe, its hard on Christopher to accede such requests... but the minimum is that I do want to see my wedding dinner a smooth flowing one, devliering the high quality of food and service.. GPCH is well known for good quality of food and with big portions... fulfilling the deliverables on the contract and arrangements.

Having read some negative hi-cups from blur btb and jiening... It really make me shivers....

Thanks weixiang! zzz seems like I always make the mistake of not clarifying such details before I sign the contract.. Understand what u mean, once the contract is penned difficult to make additional requests.. :S
