Had my food tasting last evening. The dishes are ok on the whole. Taste pretty normal...not sure why many people say FRF's food is considered one of the better ones in hotel wedding dinners.
Anyway, the first few dishes like the cold dish platter and the broccoli with scallops are too salty. Shark fin soup has a fishy smell due to the dried scallops I think. The dishes seem to get better and we have less comments towards the end of the course.

for the photo u can submit them in hard and soft copy. i had brought all my youngs days photo as well as our ROM and wedding pic. as for when to meet them, i would suggest that u do it at least 1 month in advance. in order to submit the photo, u had to personally go down to meet them. it will also provide them what are the things u like to have and vice versa. i try to upload my montage but i cant do it. not to worry. they do a good job.
i had my invitation card done at City Square at JB. there cost is cheaper and there are some other FRF couple having their insert print there when i went over that time. if i rememeber correctly, 100 insert cost you about SGD30+. they only charge a RM20 for the insert of map. if u really want to have it done over there, do let me know so i can help u.

yeah...netfinity, printing it at T&T in City Square, JB is so much cheaper than printing in s'pore...if u can afford the time, just go there instead...u can check out the thread on this in the wedding cards forum

I managed to meet Albert ard 3pm due to his busy schedule as sometime he needs to pick his daughter up according to Albert.

for the charge i not very sure how much it is for now. u may wan to go to the other thread "wedding cards" and look under this thread "printing in JB".u can find their contact there. as for the format, they had it ready and all u need is to give them your name, the address for the hotel/restaurant. u will also need to bring along your parents name and the map of the place if u wan to add it in. the price compare to SG is cheaper. this i can be sure. my whole card plus printing of insert, the card itself, the envople only cost me SGD0.70 for each piece.

bang> just saw ur posting on 55tables @ venus ballroom. I went to a dinner at Venus ballroom on Xmas eve. there's 48tables in the ballroom and it's super packed. Sm tables were seated with 11 guest per table which makes the whole thing worse.
Food was quite ok. nothing to rave about, the only rant is probably the spinach which had a little soil taste in it. Service wise was so-so only too. And i really think that the dancing chef segment can be done without. just my opinions though. the entire dinner is without much complains.

Thanks Grace for sharing. I saw a card from my HB fren(Also from FRF).. the card is from T&T. their printing is not bad.. not o biang lo... then its hot stamp type not those with inserts one... nice nice... hehe
