Hi Grace lourdes,

if possible try to take Mercury instead of Jupiter unless u really cant hit the min tables.
Cos Jupiter is converted from a function room thus its quite small and alot pillars.
basically only the middle portion can see the bride n bridegroom.
All sitting by the side can only rely solely on the one n only projector i think.
Very isolated feeling.I changed my wedding date in order to get Mercury as we really dun like Jupiter hehe

I took 2 rooms on the same night instead of 2 nights.Cos we wanted to prepare rooms for our parents to rest instead of rushing back home so late.But abit lugi as the other room will b just a normal deluxe room.But we feel that it will cut down on our cost so its ok.If u intend to reserve it for your aniiversary then make sure u dun 4get abt it?

Hi all,

My AD just over, everything went on quite smoothly on that day.

The food was good, the ballroom was nicely decorated and thumbs up for the banquet manager, Jason.

I advise all BTB to test the sound system before the AD which I didnt do and I couldnt use the march in songs Ive prepared cos they are in mp3 format. I was told that I could use songs in mp3 format.

Hi Stnov,

I burn the mp3 songs into CD. But cant play leh..in the end just choose a song from the hotel song list, no choice.

Just feel that the whole night was too rush for me, no time to stop and chat with my friends. Have to hop from one table to the next taking photos, by the time phototaking completed, have to standby at the exit to thank the guests.

shan81, haiz...after seeing Jupiter last sat, i have reservations actually....no choice leh...cos we can only reach the min. 16 tables and probably add 1 or 2 more tables for that...

that's why i want to see if anyone else took Jupiter also...want to see how the march-in would be like...maybe i can do the long march-in...cos all the rooms have projectors and cameras...perhaps got to just rely on that...

If you are burning your mp3, burn it as a Music CD. It will automatically convert to .wma and playable on most regular music disc player bah...

Try it on your hi-fi (if you have one) and see. If not, go to FRF for testing.

Sad to hear that the glass coaster is out of stock, cos I also chose that as my wedding favor and guests commented that it was nice and classy. We actually put some little photos at the reception table, and guests just used the coasters to put the photos in them. =) Hope the coasterswill be in stock soon! =)

so focus on the rest ok..btw any idea..venus ballroom for long march in..how many secs can the march in song be??

Yaya...can someone kindly advise on tat? Having problem with estimating the time for walk-in for Venus. Btw saw the earlier posting, we are suppose to burn the songs in avi format then what abt our montage? Dont they play from a laptop?

montage to be in DVD format or VCD format...if wan to play from laptop also can...but then u got to assign someone to take care of the laptop...if play from DVD or VCD...dun have to worry that laptop might suddenly hang or slow..if juz before march in then hang...then the silence will be very awkward i guess...

i used venus...my march in was abt 2 mins onli...cos we were walking really fast...nervous lah...even the dry ice smoke was not ready fast enuff...i saw the waiters fanning frantically to get the smoke out...so maybe all BTB can take note of this...must walk slowly to allow time for the dry ice to come up...

hi beryberry, FRF do not recommend us to use our laptop.
Montage & express highlights, prepare in DVD format. DVD is oso good, cos there will be no lag in playing.
As for the songs, just burn in audio format.
for all BTB, try and go down a few days before your big day to rehearse..
I went down twice to get everything right

Now waiting for it to happen tomorrow
