Hi all, anyone to share on photos of the hotel bridal suite and service of coordinators and the food? Seems Furama's themes are rather nice. my consideration is for the location. Any advice?

I also thought there shouldn't be any price differ.

Mine previously was weekday dinner, pricing was from 2006 priced $508+++, subsequently changed to next year lunch, per table is $548++, weekend dinner $608++

Thus there's a price different. Though the amount $60 is not alot, however if after some calculation of $60++, it adds up to $2000++ if chooses dinner over lunch.

Hope it clarify your point.

I am going to write in to feedback abt tis aspect so hopefully they will improve d overall look and cond.....was thinking of roping in sum help from u guys for higher chances of refurbishments wif more feedbacks to them....=)
 
hey stnov.. yes VEnus look terrible.. doors dented, carpets are old..

my coordinator said they are gonna renovate the venus ballroom next yr.. so by the time its my turn, it will look better.. he said they are gonna change the carpets and repaint the door..
 
the last time i spoke to my coordinator...he did say that they are looking into renovating the venus ballroom...but if they have to renovate...then the ballroom will have to be closed for bookings for a certain period...then i think there might be more BTB or GTB having difficulty choosing date le...
 
I just selected my theme and wedding favor yesterday! I took the latest new theme and wedding favor is a new addition as well. I am so glad I chose FRF now. :D
 
Hi Jue, so what's the new theme like? did you get to see the bridal suite? anyone knows about when the renovations will be completed next year. I wrote them an email to enquire abt dates a few days ago, still no reply from them.

in my own opinion i think food tasting shld be one mth before AD cause scare may change chef so at least it will not have a very big different in the food
as for card printing i am printing 2-3 mths before AD cause i do not wan to rush writing the names and sending out the cards to relative and friends.
 
Hi JJ,

The new theme was the 'Arched' flora stand along level 3 during the bridal show. The stage backdrop was individual stands of flowers. Very nice. They have photos now. You can ask your coordinator to email them to you.

It is more suitable to my classic style of gown than the previous themes.
 
Hi jrgal,

The race will be held in September 26 to 28 Actual Race. So training will be before the actual race for a whole week.

If your AD date don't fall in between September 22 to 29...you should be quite safe.
 
hi jrgal, FRF is nt arnd suntec or orchard so dun wry too much. even if dun hav F1, at any time there might be major events too.so dun wry, just enjoy ur preparations : )

food tasting was great that day(went on saT), we n family members was happy with it, only few minor things for improvement. hpfuly the standard will be maintained on my wedg day.

I had done our food tasing last month. Portion of the food is big. But maybe it is because the share is for 12pax. Anyway,not really pleased with the food tasting. Especially the Teochew Style Steamed Fish, the presentation of the dish looks messy &amp; they had mixed up the 1 of the dish which we had requested. Well, the ingredients looks pretty impressive &amp; fresh, but lets keep our fingers crossed whether it will be the same as on the actual day.

Went and signed my contract on Friday already..quite happy for now and will try to stop worrying until its time to make decision for it...have to prepare for my ROM first now...
I was shown some of the wedding favours on fri...quite nice..especially the glass coaster cum photo frame...

How early in advance do u guys choose ur theme etc?
 
hi fei/vin, hmm seems frf hav double standard .. hpfuly they could maintain gd standard thru'out. the dish presentation was nice for my food tasting, food was fresh too. wonder is it difnt chef, dif standard. heee yup lets pray hard everyth will be fine n gd on our wedg day.

I think u can ask to see the wedding favours lah. My AD in Mar 2009 and wedding favours may already changed, but my coordinator still showed us the favours.
 
I have problems getting my coordinator to reply me via email. Have to call and bug him one. No photos of the new theme as he only show it to us on his laptop and not via email.

fei, they quite slow hor. but according to the lady she say FRF slow haven provid them the schedule..hmm dunno them..but if neare to wedg day we wher gt so much time to go c.

worst cm to worst think i wil settle for crystal theme, smthg i alwys lik anyw. initial plan to go for crystal+garden
